- If you've been on a call with me or seen any of my other videos you may have noticed that I have a wall full of puzzles behind me.
I often get asked how I glue & mount the puzzles - so I put together this quick video to share with my friends.

Sometimes the easy solutions are all that's needed. Thanks for posting this. My Robert Bateman puzzle is now well mounted(on painted plywood that I had lying around) and hanging proudly in my dining area.
This was the best video on the topic, and it was only a minute's length. Thank you, and very helpful!
I learn more from CZcams shorts than videos now
That’s because they aren’t trying to make them 11 minutes long for monetization. Straight forward n right to the point. Exactly how they all need to be
That's a great collection. You have good taste
I bought poster board , glue & mounting tape but decided I didnt want that much more glue in my life so I duct taped the puzzle across the entire backside & edges , applied some strips of mounting tape to it and stuck it on the wall & its done .
If you find a frame that fits the size of the puzzle that prevents the warping. For everyone saying their puzzles are warping etc because I have a puzzle of Troy Aikman I found from when I was a little kid and I’m 26, & it didn’t warp, because it’s in a frame.
Lol this is the literal exact puzzle I want to do this with, what a coincidence
Which one?
Kicking myself for not thinking of something this straightforward. Thanks for posting this!!!
Never thought about using poster board to use for the backing... We just glue both sides of the puzzle and then apply adhesive strips to the back on the sides, corners, and in the middle.
Are your puzzles starting to warp? Mine are and I'm not doing anything differently.
Thanks for sharing this tip! Love it! I never thought about using foam core and gluing the puzzle to it! Love your wall. It gives me some ideas! :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you ! 🙏
I recently got into solving puzzles and was looking for a cheaper and easier way to put them on my walls after I apply puzzle glue to them
I did this but my puzzles eventually started warping after about a year. Foamcore is not the best support.
Mine still look good :)
@@JonGallantThen maybe give them a tip? Maybe they did something you didn't. It would be helpful, instead of sounding smug. 🤷🏽♀️👍🏽
Worked like a charm - thank you!
I did this and it worked! Thank you!
Sweet! Now there's no need to by the $100+ 'kits' online! Just got a LOTR puzzle for the fam and was already stressed on this hehe ty
awesome. just what i was looking for
But won’t it look all tacky specially wiping the excess glue?
Excellent! Thank you.
Great pieces; it’s better than having a wall of posters
That “ Star Wars” Puzzle “ Awesome!
I love you rn. Thank you for the inspiration! I have one hanging in a frame, but it is taking away from the image
You know what's funny? I'm mounting my own version of a Star Wars puzzle when I was looking into your video.
same. LOL
Thank you great job 👍
Thanks Man! I'm actually waiting for my star wars puzzle in the mail now
Curious if you have tips on taking them down, ie..when you have to move or something
Paint scraper and move slowly
I would use command strips. The ones that look like Velcro.
What a great idea. Thank you for posting this. What glue do you recommend? Is that Elmer's? Also, does wiping the glue with a handkerchief change the surface of the colored side of the puzzle? Would it be better to put the glue on the back of the pieces, then put the poster board over top of it, or is the point to have the diluted glue seep down between the puzzle pieces and stick it to the poster board?
Good idea because I did a dollar tree puzzle and I. Didn't want to buy a frame that cost more than the puzzle thanks for the idea
What kind of glue are you using?
I think it’s Elmers glue
Why not get actual puzzle glue?
Is that like quarter inch thick poster board or something? Also, what kinda glue you using? Thanks.
Do you have to use puzzle glue?
So I’ve already glued the puzzle with modpodge but I was looking for a way to frame it. If I glue the underside some more and put it on the foam, that will stick enough to hang it ?
Where’d you get that Star Wars puzzle from? It looks awesome
Excuse me, what glue did you use here? I really like how you did it
do u have to put the glue on the front? could you spread the glue on the back side cuz wouldn't it make it looks less sharp with the glue covering it? im a newbie sorry if this is a stupid question
This is a very useful hack, but if you have puzzle glue that works too!
What kind of glue did you use to stick it on the foam board?
Iove it!! I did the Yoda one on the far left that one took me awhile
Thanks, Yeah, the blues and greens in there are tough
What kind of glue is that ???
Just regular white glue works, i think this was clear glue
@JonGallant A brand name would be nice? Not a description. Most glues are white or clear, so that doesn't help much.
Nice, thanks. I usually glued all the puzzles to the board, but that seems easier. I wonder about longevity of that solution.
My wall still looks good IMO
what kind of glue? Can I use Elmers glue?
Is this permanent or can you remove the jigsaws if you want to move them
You can remove them
Where can I get a poster board like this?
Dollar tree
Hello! I was just wondering what kind of glue you use? The ones I've tried haven't given clear results.
PVA glue (white, wood glue)
I use regular white glue, but clear glue works too.
Would decopage work instead of water and glue
Not sure. But please give it a try and LMK if it works !
Would mod pog puzzle saver work instead ot normal glue?
Yeah, more $$ prob
Do you use a wet bandana or dry one?
Dry
You didn't say what kind of glue 😢 like does it mattered?
Is it just PVA glue
this mutha fuhhh... i was looking at how to do this bc im about to put together that yoda puzzle
Good idea…but not for under one dollar lol
Why water *AND* glue?? 🤔
Water is used to thin the glue to allow it to flow and be brushed onto the puzzle easier.
@jeffw8057 yeah I figured it out. Hung my puzzles right after I made the comment. Thanks.
@@blackdogbrown Awesome. Have you had any issues with the puzzle warp?
@@jeffw8057 No.
Is that 1min?😂
Definitely not $1 🤣
This is great, thank you Sir! Unfortunately, the sequel trilogy poster isn't even worth the $1...lol There is no sequel trilogy...
damn, it would be kind of cool if they made sequel trilogy tho... I wonder what Luke's up to
I think this guy likes star wars
