The SLS Boosters: Two Minutes of Pure Awesome

Towering at 17 stories tall and flanking either side of NASA’s mega Moon rocket with the iconic NASA “Worm” logo, the two solid rocket boosters for NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) rocket operate in parallel with the rocket’s four RS-25 engines to send the Artemis missions to the Moon. The twin, five-segment solid rocket boosters produce more than 75% of total thrust at liftoff, making them the most powerful boosters ever built for spaceflight. NASA and Northrop Grumman, the lead SLS booster contractor, manufacture the boosters. You're spending a whole bunch of money on this program, but now you can't afford to PAINT the freaking fuel tank??? Why? It looks worn out and RUSTY!!!! Not a source of "Pride"! which is a basic tenant of the program, paint it white with red and white stripes and a great big American flag!!! I don't know what color scheme but PAINT IT! "The whole program, dependent on individuals, includes "me" and I want it done "right" including a clean, gleaming, white, launch system. It's a way of being lucky and even proud. Clean, thoughtful.
