Hometown is a show that feels like a warm hug, or a binge-worthy experience on a sunday evening because it’s definitely going to remind you of your hometown. Ben Napier has been running this reality show for 7 seasons and he has become kind of a celebrity, in not just his small town but in all of the US.
Ben, along with his wife, flips some of the oldest and creepiest places into a dream house and we’ve gotta say that he has a knack for woodworking. He has spent years polishing his craft and now, he looks at a house and instantly makes an image in his mind of what it’s gonna look like after flipping. However, lately, he’s been missing from our screens and his fans are wondering what really happened to Ben Napier from Hometown!

I love this family. Ben has no problem putting his arm around Erin or giving her an affectionate kiss. Both Erin and Ben are loving parents to their two daughters. Thank you for showing us how a family can work together with love.

I so love this couple.....I send prayers and well wishes to their family....you have to protect your family and I know it had to be a nightmare when that man was around. Glad Ben is more focused on his health....Erin and the girls need him to be there....they are such a good couple....both are so talented in their own rights. Love watching their show.

They are not flipping, they are doing the work for clients who have newly purchased the homes, and working within a very specific budget determined by the new owners. Also, its Erin who does the design. They are both delightful and so thoughtful about what they do, and how they make sure to save as much as possible from the original mill work in the home.

A couple of years ago I went to Laurel MS and visited their store and workshop, and drove around the beautiful neighborhoods and saw the houses they renovated. It was a lot of fun, Laurel is a beautiful little town. 👍

Ben & Erin have been renovating some more expensive homes bought by clients that are costly. What I like about Ben & Erin they also to cost effective homes that are more a person's 1st more modest home. They use cost effective measures with the 1st time buyers which I like. Anyone can do a great job with a budget of $200,000. But getting a house that is a wreck & making it safe & nicely designed is why I love their show. Both Ben & Erin are so down to earth & Southern friendly.
Almost makes me want to at least visit Laurel, Mississippi, I do live far away.
Have traveled thru Mississippi way ago & had a taste of a dish called "Dirty Rice". White rice with diced, shredded liver. It was good. Never seen such a treat before.
I saw him last month when I visited Laurel. They were filming an episode at the shop. They truly make Laurel look like a really nice place. A few nice streets with beautiful homes and the rest was pretty bad looking and felt unsafe. Did enjoy the a few of the shops downtown. But Ben and Erin are trying to make the town beautiful again.

Home Town has been showing on Australian TV and is very enjoyable. We've learnt a lot from Ben's carpentry skills and demos, and also from Erin's creative design. People in the public eye must always guard their children's privacy and safety in a world full of predators. I'm sorry this nice couple has had to experience the worst of life in the public eye, and wish them well in their future. Jealous people are everywhere, unfortunate but true.

I have always loved Ben & Erin. I was overjoyed when Helen was born. They make a wonderful family. With the arrival of a new baby, I can see how horrifying it was to have that crazy man around. I cannot imagine what they went through! With God watching over them, I can see them flourishing.

Ben you look fantastic. I'm glad your surgery is over and your recovery is going well. You must have been in a lot of pain. Just hearing about shaving bone spurs gives me shooting pains. I'm so glad that guy is no longer seen in your town. I wish things could be more like they were years ago when I was a child. That time, although you had to be careful about things. Kids could be just that. Kids. Play outside with all the neighbor kids, going swimming, or fishing. Playing baseball. Catching fire flies at twilight. Great memories than. 👍best wishes to this wonderful family. shoulder surgery is rough. I woke up day after surgery to a high pitched scream - it was me screaming in my sleep. Recovery from having a bone spur shaved down was painful. I had to push thru the pain & do the exercises in order to regain use. then one day the pain was just gone. anyone going thru this please trust the process have faith.
I pray all is well and you all do not ever have to go thur that again I love watching your all show what yiu have done for your home state is amazing I send prayers everyday for all of you. Look forward project

I visited Laurel in November 2022 and happened upon the opening day of Laurel Mercantile Scent Library where I met Mallory and her daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Laurel, the historical district is filled with charm. I took a drive on the outer parts of Laurel and saw several homes in need of some TLC. Erin and Ben will not be running out of projects to do in Laurel any time soon. Ben and Erin have many fans, including me, and I wish for them an abundance of love and peace as they face challenging obstacles together. Family and God first.
God bless you both Ben and Erin. I was a fan and very regular Home Town viewer and absolutely loved every episode. I'm sorry for your experiences with the creepy, dangerous guy! Kudos to law enforcement or whatever means it was that got him to move along (hopefully not to another family.) You did a great job protecting your family Ben - good man. It was apparent your faith never faltered. I hope this is not weird of me to write, but I am in awe of you Erin. Smart, kind, funny, certainly creative, and beautiful. The episodes show a wonderful mother very much in love with her husband. Warms my heart.
I also want to share that I am saddened by the fact my favorite home reno shows, which definitely Home Town was at the top of the list, went away when it was necessary for me to "cut the cord." Pay TV is no longer a luxury I can afford. I miss seeing the beauty you created and with so much love and passion.
Ben, I too struggle with my weight - I get it. I wish you continued success with managing your health and hope that shoulder mends/mended quickly so you that you can get back to creating your beautiful woodworking wonders.
