Who Is The Most Controversial MVP In NFL History?

  • Throughout the entirety of NFL history, there have obviously been a ton of guys who have won the NFL MVP award. But not all trophies shine the same way. Guys like Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning may have won MVP trophies that belong to other guys. But in this video, it's up to you to decide what the biggest MVP robbery in NFL history is. Anyway, if you enjoyed this video, then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I've earned it.
These are the biggest NFL MVP snubs in all of American football. Seriously, Drew Brees and JJ Watt deserved their NFL MVPs, and they even had the best NFL MVP seasons. I wonder who will win the NFL MVP award in 2023, as guys like Tom Brady and Joe Montana have won it in the past. Still, though, this NFL MVP race is going to impact the NFL playoffs in the future indefinitely.

(There was also a loss to the Bengals which they lost 13-22, which was close but their offense failed em.) Watt did a lot for those Texans, forcing them to a positive record but it wasn't enough. Yes, what Thomas did was undoubtedly impressive, but McCaffrey had nearly 1,400 Rushing yards along with just over 1,000 receiving yards for ~2,400 all purpose yards with 19 touchdowns. Thomas had 1,725 yards with just 9 touchdowns, so purely by numbers McCaffrey has him beat. That's also not mentioning that the Saints were a MUCH better team that year going 13-3 while the Panthers went 5-11. Thomas got the award because the NFL didn't want to give it to a player on a bad team, even though McCaffrey was unquestionably the most effective non-QB in the league that year. What he accomplished had only been done twice before, once by a Hall of Famer (Marshall Faulk) and once by a three time super bowl champion (Roger Craig).
