Hi, i love your storytelling, but when it says 3 hours, i think it is going to be 3 hours of storytelling, but I wake up to just anoing noise, and I like the 8 hour plus storytelling the best they are fantastic thanks heaps, more with out the fake rain would be fantastic great job thanks heaps for making me being able to sleep 😴 every night listening to your storytelling xx🥰🥳😇
The rain isn't fake, it is rain I personally recorded. I've often tried going back to voice only but those stories then get almost no views. I've tried music only and they also get significantly fewer views, I tried just a story on its own and it would get almost no views, so I did what most other channels do, which I had resisted for ages which is having the single story on a three hour video of rain, this got the most views. Many other channels at the time would have something like a 20-30 minute story followed by 2.5 hours of rain. Mine were often 60 minutes with about 2 hours of rain. Since doing this I kept trying to move away from doing this, but the most important thing to me is what viewers want based on what gets the most views, as this is my business, so until I found the work around I now do, which people seem to be happy with, I was doing the 3 hour videos, where there is a story followed by rain and music, which has always been made clear in the descriptions and has chapters, so this also shows on the video, and I do find it odd that I can share a 60 minute story and get about 800 views, I can share the same 60 minute story with 2 hours of rain after the story and it will get about 4000 views. I have a playlist of voice only versions of everything and stories get about 4-5 views. Adding rain gets the story significantly more views, whether the story has the rain end just after the story ends or whether rain continues. The reason I now make 8 hour or so videos, with the main story followed by the previous 7-10 weeks stories is because 60% of my revenue comes from CZcams Premium subscribers, and they were saying they like listening to back to back stories in playlists but can't if the story ends and then there are hours of rain etc, so they were dropping off listening to my stories, yet because CZcams introduced always placing ads at the end of all videos and creators can't turn this off, if the video ends with the story ends then people will get an advert perhaps 60 minutes into falling asleep, so by having ambience after the story people can set a timer to turn off CZcams perhaps 70 minutes into the video and it will turn off after the story during the ambience. And if they want more ambience they can set the timer a bit later. Obviously for those not using CZcams Premium and not setting a timer then they will get ads after 3 hours, but in many cases they may be deep enough asleep not to notice. So for CZcams Premium subscribers I now make my videos about 8 hours long of back to back stories set to music and rain with the first story being that week's story the next story being the previous week's story etc until the stories reach about 8 hours. That way people who fall asleep quick who don't want a voice playing all night can set a timer and have CZcams turn off after one story, those who want more can set a later timer, or even no timer at all and if they get a full night's sleep of 8 hours the ads at the end shouldn't disturb them because they would play when the person should be waking up anyway...

Wait wasn’t this story called “The Magic horse” or something like that? Or is this a different one. We met a blue horse in “magic horse”. Slightly confused by the title change.

Yes, but it was performing very poorly, so as usual I had to try changing the title and thumbnail to see if I could increase views at all...
