I love the curated collection. The standout polish for me is I'm Quite Aware of How Ridiculous I Am" which should be a polish. As a collection I see the Miami/Art Deco vibes and it really captures the movie. It's not missing, but I would add Zoya's Jen (a sapphire blue shimmer) and call it "The Kirby? It's Art" based on the blue dress in the Kirby portrait. Great series! I can't wait to see the next one!

I'm still new-ish to exploring nail polish content online, and this curate-your-own-collection based on pop culture is such a fun and creative video format. I thoroughly enjoyed this, the vivid colors, the movie clips, your reflections and personal connections, really great. I don't think I've seen The Birdcage since I saw it in the cinema in the 90s! I'm curious to revisit it now. btw I love the Labyrinth poster peeking out there in your background. I HAVE considered doing a Labyrinth one, but I consider April to be Labyrinth season (as that's my birth month it's one of my favorite movies from the decade I was born... Yes, movies are seasonal to me 🤣) BUT @allismanis (I think that's her name here, she's manis4alli on IG and she commented on this video) curated her own Labyrinth collection! @@fanaticure Thanks for the link! She did a great job with her selection, fun. That's interesting that this kind of video is divisive, I didn't know. To me, swatch and reviews are certainly informative and useful, and nail art tutorials are helpful and educational, but as I'm learning, there's much more to this hobby than just how polishes look or how they apply. There is an emotional aspect to colors and textures and the way the light plays on a certain formula. It can evoke some pretty strong feelings, much like the way a movie can, so a pop culture crossover makes sense to me. And besides, it's such a good creative outlet to assess a collection and then draw out a handful of pieces, curating based on a theme. Much opportunity for analysis and creativity and celebration 😊 I'm definitely in the LOVE camp. Happy Pride!! 🌈
