I've been a keyboardist for nearly 50 years, and this is one of - if not - my favorite guitar solos I've ever heard.
Of course, the difference between this one and those of years past is that Martin had plenty of time to conceive and practice the solo, so we don't really know how spontaneous is is.
But it is STILL a beautiful solo!
