Korea/Cambodia Co-production Project [Revival of Angkor, the City of Gods]
Siem Reap, the entire city is a cultural heritage of Cambodia.
Angkor ruins, best exemplified by Angkor Wat, represent the brilliant culture of the Khmer from a thousand years ago.
However, the ruins of Angkor today are damaged from wartime and robbery that the glorious appearance from the
past can no longer be found at the sight. This production covers the ongoing restoration project to reproduce the
glory of Angkor ruins from the long past.
The reproduction of the City of Gods
A thousand years ago, the kings of Khmer of Cambodia served gods and also wanted to become divine themselves.
For the sake of gods they serve, and to become close to those gods, the Khmer kings built temples. From
Jayavarman Bayon temple to Suriyavarman Angkor Wat, all of the constructions are magnificent. However,
people's greed and selfishness damaged the ruins and erased the glory of the past, and today, nations from around
the world stepped up to revive the ruins of Angkor.
An injection for stones, a cure solution for stones?
The Khmers used the building method of laying one stone upon another, without the use of glue or anchor. The
collapsed stones from war and robbery damages shattered in pieces, wore out, and lost structures as they were
bearing through the long period passed. Seeking the best use of the remaining stones for restoration through a lot of
research, professional restorers came up with a solution: 'inject a shot on the stone!'
    Angkor is a hydraulic city
A city floating on the water, Angkor. This means that water essentially controls the fate of Angkor ruins. Decreased
precipitation and increased number of tourists threaten the safety of Angkor ruins. The direction professionals took to
protect the ruins is to follow how ancestors set up the whole system to function. What was the project the Khmers
from a thousand years ago established that enabled the city to keep the structural safety of the city?
The effort to revive the glory from a thousand years past, and the remaining project
In the past, Angkor ruins' biggest threats used to be robbery and war; however, in recent years, are the tourists.
Old temples have a risk of damage just from a lot of people walking around the sight, and tourists?constant touch
wears out the ruins. If these patterns continue for many years, the ruins might eventually lose its shape completely.
Professionals are working hard to protect the Angkor ruins, and we question what we need to do to help the same goal.

Thank you so much that’s why were name it as Angkor Wat or Khmer Empire . Angkor translate as Palace Temple or Khmer Empire as it has thousand Cambodian Ancient Temple within Cambodia and more Khmer Temples that can be trace within some neighbors countries.
Khmer Empire were expanded to half part of South East Asia mainland and the lower part of Burma . Khmer Empire were powered and prosperious that has heavily influencial Civilization , toward neighbors people. Until Khmer Empire as like , any country histories Khmer Empire suffer often and receive many threats from neighbors people they attacked and raid oftentime Khmer Empire fate had decrease in dimensions and territorial in massive scales ,Vietnam sack and seize 19 Khmer Outlying Provinces and Thailand has raid and seized Khmer outlying province total of 21 Khmer territorials . There is still thousand Khmer Ancient ruins that can be trace within these neighbors people .
