after watching this again, it looks like you wouldve been able to change directions at one point in development, with it controlling like rayman adventures. hence the winding spike tentacle hover fall paths. interesting.
I guess they were testing out the engine for rayman adventures which I guess is a modified version of the engine that ran this game and were testing gameplay fixes and controls
finally, someone else who still plays rayman jungle run! how long have you played/known of rayman. i started playing jungle run when i was 3 in 2012, and origins and legends/rayman platform games in 2013. memories :)
I like seeing unused content cause you see stuff devs wanted to but couldn't and see how they tested things and stuff i didn't know were possible in the game also yes the reason there are some leftover objects that don't fit is cause these are either early tests of features for future rayman mobile games or a re leftovers from other rayman mobile games when some gameplay additions were brought over in the later updates of this games lifespan

"the sprites & textures + objects" and I tried deleting a characters sprite, it was black. a bit scary actually, anyway if you can try it out someday or let me know how to get these things up and running then that's cool. just wondering •__•

For example, if you put a Rayman Legends file in Rayman Jungle Run, the file will try to find the location of Rayman Legends files but since there's none, it will just crash the game.

Sliding is actually introduced in Rayman Fiesta Run, but some levels in Rayman Jungle Run have the slide feature too.

I started playing in 2010(?), Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge, but I wasn't familiar with the characters at the time, until I played Origins. :)

i was wearing headphones, meaning everytime it swapped the headphone it wanted to go to, my ears felt really weird.

I did but it crashed.. Because the test levels only finds Rayman Jungle Run files so it won't work on other UbiArt games.

There are no unused levels in Fiesta Run. And if you tried putting Jungle Run's unused levels in Fiesta Run, the game will crash!
