@@londonbuses1573 To be fair they’re typical ex London buses in the sense they max out at 50mph anyway. Other than that they’re a pretty great set of Tridents that deserve the good reputation they get
@@cwcptravel6936 Funny how I’d end up making up for that with 435 on X30 in 2023 with kickdown and full thrash up the M4, and 433 on the 1 with plenty of kickdown up the hills to Rogerstone with a few mins of dual carriageway max out! And you were there with me 😉
We didn’t get 426 today, we should keep an eye for it to see if it’s still this whiny 2 years later 👀 At least we know its sister KN52s are still quite beefy at 20 years old
@@ChilternTransportProductionsTridents if you ever come to Newport: There are no more booked opportunities to get Thrash, the only booked public trident duties as of now are: 6:55 6 to Alway only 7:00 19 round trip to Newport 7:20 74A round trip to Newport-9:04 42 to Newport 14:15 26C To Newport 6:04 27 to Newport, 6:50 29 to Cwmbran 7:33 29 to Duffryn (used to be called SJ15, uses single decker after school so probs not too much of a bus service) 8:49 41 pill-newport 14:15 26C newport 16:17 6 Newport FROM ALWAY You will most likely get a standard Trident and if your very lucky, a Voith 3 speed President. Sometimes the ALX400s work public duties to sub in for deckers which often include the X74 etc Would reccomend you take a trip over to Cardiff if you are in Newport. Have had a fair few good journeys on the 3 with these and definitely back in those times it seem to always be running late. Although not beyond 50mph

Absolutely hellfire kickdown and thrash from a very beefy, whiny Trident! I do love the KV02 batch, they’re one of the best Euro 3 ZF Tridents!

Some beautiful Whiny kickdown man I need to get outside London one day and experience the amazing thrash of Dennis Tridents.
Fun fact this was actually a London bus. National Express Travel London and moved over to Abellio too. New as 9792 to Battersea
It's nice how Ex London buses do have new life outside London
