Jardin and Medellin #33 - Rental Car, Crepes and Waffels and Coffee Region - 101 days in Colombia

Our Canadian family rented a car in Colombia and drove the miracle mile!! We went from Pereira to Jardin to Medellin over 4 days. Jardin is a beautiful little town with a great town square and super friendly people. The drive to and from Jardin was winding, and the roadsides were covered in coffee plants for hundreds of miles. The scenery and hills around the coffee region are like paintings, simply stunning. Driving into Medellin was very exciting! Medellin is a world class city with tons activities and accommodation choices, at a great value. Hope you enjoy this short, and simple video! Dana

We ate at that restaurant at least 20 times on our trip! My kids loved it. Honestly, I think it would be a huge hit in. Vancouver Canada.

12 years ago, I almost accepted a teaching job at the Canadian school near Medellin. Ever since then, I have always wanted to visit Colombia. For me, it was even better than I expected. The diversity of the country is second to none. And yes, some people back in Canada thought we were crazy for coming to Colombia. But it didn’t stop us. We did our homework and we always play it safe by coming in at night and avoiding the danger areas. Thanks for watching. I hope you like the videos. You can share them if you want!
