6 years later and till the day I am in awe of that dance. Normally the boys take a backseat and the girls are the attention in coed dances but this routine hits different. The dance was choreographed to perfection. Honestly .. i didn’t even notice the ladies 😂
Kirsten E and TGLC was robbed of first :/// in reality if it wasn't for USASF the top 3 placements were going to be the same as last year. It's not fair that they fixed the floor right before coed elite went on smh
Exactly. The large coed division was just unfair overall and should have been re-performed. Not every team was given a fair shot due to a loose floor panel. If you notice, each large coed team with a tumbling bust had TD or omission in the exact same panel on the Right-hand side of the mat (from the front, from the performers perspective it was on the left). Cali coed were robbed, if not of 1st then most definitely of 2nd I'm a coach of 8 years & still an occasional io5 athlete in this industry, & I am still completely convinced of that fact even if it gets me in trouble by saying so.
Probably the best dance at Worlds.

3rd place is still amazing, but it's a shame that these super talented athletes couldn't walk away with gold.
