great Video. we first saw this bike with Eric Nomadic F. He loved it and I see you love it. we are considering buying two for the Motorhome. So my question, have you checked how far you can go on a charge without peddling? They say you can get up to 50 miles, but im sure thats with a lot of peddling.

You are also able to change it into a class 3 Ebike capable of 28 mph in PAS 5. You have to get into the settings and go to P08. It defaults to 32 which is 32 kmh or 20 mph. You can take it up to 45 kmh which translates to 28 mph. Why anyone would want to go this fast on a bicycle is beyond me, but the capability is there.
I'm confused. You just unpacked one with 4" tires and no front suspension. I thought all the 3.0 came with front suspension and 3 " fat tires. What model is that?
pedal assist has nothing to do with the gears , it merely determines how much help the motor gives you wile you are pedaling , ie assisi 1 little help assist 5 lots of help

This e-bike comes as class 2 by default limited to 20 mph, but you can switch it to class 3 in the settings to go up to 28 mph with punchier acceleration, but that also makes it illegal to ride in bicycle-only pathways.
I'd like to see more colors. I like the white one for visibility at night, something to consider if you see yourself taking evening rides after work. they have a sale for $100 off right now..$899 But all the coupon codes expired, so was unable to find any extra's. OCT 2020

Hey, Carol!! I have not heard of people putting slime in their tires but as with any tire inflated by air, there is risk of a flat but don't let that spoil your fun. Be careful but have fun and enjoy!!
I just received one of these and I wish mine would have been this easy. Mine arrived with 2 flat tires and a huge chip out of the paint. Not a very happy camper.

I also bought a bikeroo seat for the lectric. While it is a BIG improvement you aren't living right until you get a suspension seat post. Totally next level in comfort when paired with the bikeroo seat. I got the Suntour SP12 NCX Suspension Seatpost (31.6 post size) on Amazon and it's soooo much more comfortable on long rides now. Hey! When my battery starts to run low (3 bars left) the screen and battery shuts down. Also, battery holds shorter time, running low faster. Have anybody experienced this issue? What can be the cause? my bike is around 6 month new but i use every day about 36 km a day

I've heard people get up to a speed of 35mph but it all depends on the terrain, weight of rider, etc. I imagine I could get up to that speed but I get a bit concerned going past 20mph. I have yet to unlock the bike's full potential but no matter, I like to enjoy the ride without the blur!! 🙂 I don't think the company has opened up the sale of their bikes to affiliates and if you find them for sale outside their website, it's from a private seller selling their bike.

Hi, Steve!! It just depends on speed and road conditions. I imagine if you're riding on level surfaces with low throttle you can probably go on for 50 miles on a single charge!
@@TheRoger1205 Negative. If they were assembled in the USA, by hand or otherwise, they'd cost a LOT more than $899. Yes, the Lectric XP office is in Phoenix but the bikes are made in China, and they're no more "hand assembled" than any other mass produced bikes built in Chinese factories. There are actually several factories in China that make basically the same model e-bike with minor trim and optional vs standard feature differences. They sell them to small e-bike start-up companies all over the world who have their own name put on them for marketing purposes. For example, a company in the Netherlands sells basically the same folding e-bike bike as the Lectric XP but in a 250W version under the ironic name "Samebike XP". They market their version with slightly different equipment combo than the Lectric XP, such as a suspension fork is standard but the cargo rack is optional. www.samebike.nl/xp/

I've owned a corolla and if the rear seats fold down out of the trunk, you can get it to fit.

everyone always say 28mph but how long can you keep it at the speed? for several seconds.. no thanks.. just pedal comfortably at 22mph.

I've had Stanley blades blow my back tyre at 22mph, the rim bit messed up by the bitumen we have in Australia

What's the max speed for it? Ebay doesn't have them.
I've heard people get up to a speed of 35mph but it all depends on the terrain, weight of rider, etc. I imagine I could get up to that speed but I get a bit concerned going past 20mph. I have yet to unlock the bike's full potential but no matter, I like to enjoy the ride without the blur!! 🙂
I don't think the company has opened up the sale of their bikes to affiliates and if you find them for sale outside their website, it's from a private seller selling their bike.

@@msum6220 Oh, I thought you were stating that you knew it is a 500W. It is a 500W and it goes fast, about 28mph top speed but that also will depend on terrain and weight of biker.

Hi, Steve!! It just depends on speed and road conditions. I imagine if you're riding on level surfaces with low throttle you can probably go on for 50 miles on a single charge!

They are made in USA. The company is in Phoenix. They hand assemble.
The main warehouse is in Arizona ..... The company will replace if anything happens to the bike in shipping process ..
@@TheRoger1205 Negative. If they were assembled in the USA, by hand or otherwise, they'd cost a LOT more than $899. Yes, the Lectric XP office is in Phoenix but the bikes are made in China, and they're no more "hand assembled" than any other mass produced bikes built in Chinese factories. There are actually several factories in China that make basically the same model e-bike with minor trim and optional vs standard feature differences. They sell them to small e-bike start-up companies all over the world who have their own name put on them for marketing purposes. For example, a company in the Netherlands sells basically the same folding e-bike bike as the Lectric XP but in a 250W version under the ironic name "Samebike XP". They market their version with slightly different equipment combo than the Lectric XP, such as a suspension fork is standard but the cargo rack is optional. www.samebike.nl/xp/

You can buy it and have it shipped to a family member and have them ship it to you ....that's what I did .... Bought it and had it shipped to my parents in Florida ....and they shipped it to me in Paris ( $30 ) ...... Great Birthday gift ......
