dragon ball reaction - Zábava
Now we see why Goku always believes in Krillin. He's seen how 😂much he can improve when he tries his best.
Never stop doing the Puar impressions, melon. 😂
"You need a bath. You stink" is Bulma's love language 😅
Yamcha is just the best lol
When Goku forgets someone else they always scream at him whereas Yamcha just do his signature pose to jog the memory
They already knew how to fight. Conditioning their bodies but increasing their strength and speed. Makes them even much more stronger. That’s the training of master roshi
The original show moved at a pace similar to the manga because it had been pretty far ahead, but because Toriyama kept going, it eventually bit them when they got near the end of the show and especially Z.
That said, there is filler built into the tournaments. The whole tournament is a one-day thing in the manga but they stretch it out for character interactions. Pretty much all night scenes are anime-exclusive
Killin and Goku on the same level. Good times
I think the idea is that Goku and Krillin became so superhumanly strong through the training that they didn't need to learn techniques, and could instead figure out fighting on their own through experience. So that's why Roshi only conditioned their bodies rather than teaching martial arts.
Also damn that Puar impression is spot-on xD
He gave them a strong foundation. The tournament was for them to experiment and figure out their own unique fighting style/what works best for them. It’s honesty genius
IE. He drilled the fundamentals into them so deeply that their bodies just did it without thinking so that their minds could focus on what was needed to be done to win
Yeah, it is at this point where they start to drag out the pacing, where a single two-page spread can become a single episode. Filler would have almost been a blessing.
Golu and Krillin as mafia bosses made my day
I started watching Dragon Ball a while back and jumped back in after you started doing reactions, and all I can say is poor Yamcha. You’ll see. 😏
Melon - "turtle milk is for me" 😂
Ummm no! Have you seen the beak on a turtle? Those things and lactation do not mix!
3:09 plant your feet, grit your teeth and eat that horse!
This episode clarified something that I was wondering for a while. Bulma said Roshi moved and his island was empty, which explains how his house is now next to all the training spots.
We saw him move his house in the show.
@@Celestia282 you're right, but it's easy to forget stuff like that when this is like the only other time it's brought up
You think Turtle would be confused when the house is missing from the island.
Then again he MIGHT have an idea where Master Roshi went to since they've known each other for a long time
Bulma did the same thing to vegeta after he came back from space looking for Goku, I mean almost the same scene, that’s the Bulma Rizz
Also, just think, Krillin has been able to keep up with Roshi (a master) and Goku (a saiyan, that has been physically active/fighting animals all his life) and he is just a plain, old human. Total underdog that lived up to his potential and surpassed many limitations.
"Does Yamcha only have 1 move?" Devastated.
Hey animelon I'm beginning to think that you voiced puar 😂
Duude the respect that grown up Goku has for his first martial arts teacher makes me choke. Wearing his gear in honor of those lessons. I just love that.
I do wish there was more of a training arc. I get that they just progressed to harder versions of the first day, but I'm sure something interesting happened over those eight months. Especially considering how close Goku and Krillin became.
Goku on this outfit is the goat
My theory as to why the boys were not taught martial arts is because Toriyama either didn’t know any martial arts to have the animators work with or did not want those skills to be shown for a little kids to learn how to fight without discipline. I’m going with the latter.
Also Roshi probably thought the boys were experienced enough in fighting techniques because Goku was trained by Gohan and Krillin was trained at his temple.
9:45 Goku even took his shoes off. This little guy is too pure
Hey AniMelon,
On watching and enjoying Dragon Ball
ep.19 Suit Up and just want to say
Thank You, AniMelon for your anime
reaction videos you are the 👑 of Anime,
AniMelon, Thank You.
👑👑👑📱📱👑👑👑
I find hilarious when u first heard the flying cat voice you was like that's so ignoring. But here u r copying word for word and a pretty good imitation at that 😂
Haha yea, Ive mastered the “make your ears bleed” voice 😂😂
Well personally I find it quite adorable lol. I do really enjoy rewatching this series again. Brings back a lot a good memories and seeing ur reaction is enjoyable 😉. Keep doing the good work 👏 🙌
My dad trained boxers, and even though length of the training was roughly the same each day, and a lot of the training was the same, the training was intense and even though the body adapts, it can only adapt so much. Look at world champion boxers who've fought for ten rounds- they are in amazing shape, but after 10 or 12-three minute intervals of fighting (with a minute break between each interval), they are worn out. Hell, any trainer worth their salt who sees a trainee not dragging at the end of a training session, (barring light ones near events/matches), would correct that. (Oh, you're not tired? Good thing, since you're working that heavy bag for the next fifteen minutesWHYARENTYOUPUNCHINGITYET)
The less believeable part isn't that they were still tired after doing this for eight months, (even presuming the intensity of the training- weight/distance/speed), but that they were able to accomplish the first days' training.
They already had more than twice the power level (10+) of a normal person (farmer with shotgun) and Goku at least knew a bit of ki manipulation and both had martial arts training already. It's not like they were first timers
@@specialnewb9821 They were first timers, for the training they got- you can be a great runner, doesn't mean you're gonna be a great swimmer or weight lifter. And given how tired they were after (somehow) doing the milk run, obviously their previous training didn't prepare them for long distance walking/running/climbing, while keeping their arms extended- and lest we forget, that was just the early morning routine.
Sure, we have to make allowances for "its Anime; you got a magical wish granting dragon, NAIL...", but its less believeable (less being the operative word) that they finished day one than that day 240 was still kicking their bums.
Impressed with yamacha...? wait till you see Yajirobe!
Something to keep in mind, the reason why Goku and Krillin are so close in power and speed at the moment is that Goku was born very weak for a Saiyan. Raditz probably barely ever trained and still had a power level of somewhere between 1200 to 2000. Goku was born with only a power level of 2 and trained his entire life by three Masters one of which was considered a god and still wasn't as strong as Raditz.
Keep that power level shit out of Dragonball my guy
@Moonman Sure. Goku, being an alien, even though that's not brought up until episode 1 of Dragon Ball Z, is fine, but power levels that were introduced in the same time frame is not. You got it, buddy.
@@DarkestAndBlackest what I meant is, that when people start discussing power levels everything else (like story, themes) gets left out because it doesn’t require much thinking and has devolved into such a stupid discussion. Like who cares… early Dragonball is too pure for such stupidity :)
@@moonman8450 You can entertain both conversations. We’re talking about Dragon Ball, not Kant’s most impenetrable works.
@@moonman8450 I only brought it up because the Raditz fight was really the only time power levels were relevant and consistent. It was just a display of what Goku could have been born as versus what he actually was.
Now that Krillin is here the whole OG gang is finally meeting each other so awesome 🙌🔥
Umm Tien and Yajirobe.
@@RondoOfBloodX damn I forgot about them my bad lol
@@RondoOfBloodX Hope I am not spoiling it, but Tien shows up with the next World Martial Arts tournament after this one and Yajirobe appears in the Demon King Piccolo arc.
@@samuelzuleger5134 Yeah I knew that. I was just saying that they haven’t shown up yet so the whole OG gang isn’t yet assembled.
Cool fact about this tournament in the manga. Without going too far into spoilers, the main character for this arc could be considered Roshi. You'd think it'd be Goku but Toriyama frames this not as "does Goku have the strength to win the tournament?" because he arguably does, but as Roshi thinking "am i able to make sure these boys dont think they're already at the top and help them continue to improve themselves throughout their lives?"
Its a beautiful arc and i highly recommend TotallyNotMarks review and analysis of the original Dragonball after you finish each arc, it can really give you an additional level of appreciation to the story and Toriyama himself.
No longer spoiler. Animelon already in Red Ribbon arc.
@@embran8486 ah thank you. Second paragraph still stands for everyone else watching her reactions!
really loving these reactions 🔥🔥 thank you
Pretty bold of Roshi to leave his house on the island.
Launch is staying there. He didn't leave it alone.
He took his house with him in a capsule, remember?
@@spaceangelmewtwo9074 yes but he didn’t take it back to its original spot until after the tournament.
When they are delivering the milk they are not aloud any drinks so they are thirsty
I liked the mini reunion and teared up
Master Roshi just pulled a Mr. Miyagi on Goku and Krillin, I completly forgot thats all he did
The gi he wears now isn't the same design as the one he wears in Z...
Obviously it's smaller, but that's not what I'm talking about...
The one he's wearing in this episode is redder and the symbol has a yellow background...
In Z, it's more orange and the background is white....
Also he goes from wearing shoes to wearing boots... while Krillin keeps the shoes....
Goku also start wearing the blue undershirt later... and Krillin goes back and forth between wearing the undershirt and going without it...
After he trains with King Kai, he gets the "Kai-ou" gi, with King Kai's name (Kai-ou/King of the World) written on the back and "turtle" on the front...
And eventually, he gets a gi with the "Go" from his name on it... (I think his name is on the front and back)
Krillin's gi doesn't change as much...
Let the first Tournament Ark begin.
“Tooth what?"😂
Hyped for the tournament!
7:42 I honestly can't tell the difference between you and Puar now...
You could probably replace her voice in the dub...
Just make your voice as high-pitched and squeaky as possible...
The day Goku never changes clothes again. 100 years from now still the same style
The pacing is really good. Long enough to show what the training is and how it goes, but doesn't dwell on it. No filler, just go.
I like the suits that launch bought for Goku and Krillan. They was drippin 💯 W vid and reaction #Melongang
I actually think that she made them for them, like seamstress and everything
7:20
Bulma was about to be a wish.
Just in case anyone hasn't said it yet...
Drip?
Drip 😎
The Pu'erh impressions 😆
yes goku and krillin were actually the same level around this time in OG dragon ball
Yamcha defeated Truck-kun??? He was trying to save you!
Melonification at 4pm. Lets goo. Im rewatching this with my dawg melon like rewatching DBZA with her 😢. Ima be sad when this ends. Wassup Melonade.
Goku was trained by his Grampa Gohan and Krillin trained 8 years at the Orin Temple they are both very skilled.
Goku was just a toddler then. What kind of training could that have been‽. lol
@@snowdog03 If you have seen the show then you should know Goku learned a lot from his Grandpa Gohan and if you haven't seen it then you will find out when you get to those episodes.
This is the reason we love Goku! 🫶🏻
Why did I miss this video yesterday 😡😠
you seem like a cool personality
YIPPPEEEE
Well he does end up end in crater yamcha
Roshi's training taught them the greatest lesson in Dragon Ball, the strongest characters win.
Technique means nothing agaisnt overwhelming power and speed. Even Saitama knows that.
yeah~ but technically krillin and goku both know how to fight already. roshi just made them a lot stronger. they want special techniques but u do need experience to use advanced ki and other techniques
Tenkaichi Budokai! Let's Go!
Let's goooo
🔥❤️🔥
They both already had martial arts training before Rochi, I'm guessing Rochi is not the best at Ki control, also goku tend to hold back and krilling knew exactly who he was up against 🤔
My profile picture is from this ep
Pretty sure someone told you already. but just in case a new episode of SAO abridged came out maybe a week ago now
I posted the reaction:)
Oh wow. hadn't seen show up in my feed so guess I gotta search. thanks
I thought krillin said that too the first time I saw this episode 😂 but it makes sense cuz Goku is a caveman pretty much
Yamcha really do be milking that wolf fang fist for all its worth
First two tournaments anyway. Afterwards another which is what we should applaud Yamcha the most for: first of the so called "Z-warriors" making up his own ki-attack!
@@embran8486 Yeah, that's one thing Yamcha has over Goku. I don't think Goku has ever created his own Ki-attack. All of his techniques are techniques he learned from someone else. But of course, there are only so many variations of ki blast you can really run through, and hey, if the Kamehameha isn't broke, don't fix it
@@spaceangelmewtwo9074 Plenty ki-attacks seen, even in Dragonball. Regarding Goku...besides variations on Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb not really. Though you could count the two ki balls underwater during Frieza Saga lol and maybe the Super Dragon Fist.
goku finally has his signature look
Well, half of it.
I never liked Dragonball as much as Z (I prefer the sci-fi fantasy to the kungfu fantasy) but DB is always very charming and Toribot isn't burned out yet so it is surprisingly good storytelling.
U add
Why she wants Roshi's milk 😩
I’m like Goku. If you change your hair I’m probably not going to recognize you.
Roshi purposely didn’t teach them any martial arts for reasons that I don’t want to spoil. But in my opinion that’s why roshi is the best mentir when it comes to fictional martial arts.
It seems you cut these short a little more each week. 😑
gayman lmao
you speak too soon
Babe I showed you my Wolf-Fang Fist plz respond.
What??
