for anyone who has invisalign: instead of using toothpaste, you can use unscented anti bacterial hand soap to clean your aligners. i’ve been using it for a little over 3 months now and it works so well. i don’t use any cleaning tablets. i just clean my trays atleast 2-3 times a day and i don’t have any issues with plaque buildup in the trays. also if you have gaps and food is getting stuck there, use an interdental floss to help push those bits out and then floss normally after. it works for me!

Hello from Geismar, Louisiana, USA Because of you I made the decision to go through with my invisalign. I wore my 1 aligners for 3 weeks without attachments and 1 with with attachments. I'm currently on 2 of 28 🙄 Thank you for your 1st video and all the others. They were very informative 😉

Yes I had more traditional braces in my late teens and early 20s and I remember how uncomfortable they could be. It will be all worth it in the end. I had way too many teeth for the size of my jaw. I had to have four teeth pulled before the braces (and I had 4 more pulled thanks to them being damaged by a dentist) great discussion here and looking forward to the day you can revel to use your new teeth or after braces teeth 😊 👍 😘
I just got my attachments put on and it was uncomfortable, it hurt and the nerve pain from the curing light was horrible. The girl left the light on my teeth way too long and it hurt and it was hot and I was sweating the whole entire time not to mention when they have to polish off the rest of the attachment glue and that was not pleasant either. Nobody talks about how unpleasant it is to get the attachments put on. If you have sensitive teeth you’re in for some nerve pain getting the attachments on!!!
I’m on my second week and omg I have a tooth just like your top one and trying to get them off that tooth is soo hard 😩. I’m definitely going to invest in that blue thing to help
My first week I spent several minutes getting each aligner out and I tried to take them out as few times as possible haha, so I totally get what you mean! But within a few weeks it was a LOT easier and now its a matter of seconds, they pop off so easily. Just hang in there, for me it changed pretty quickly 🤗🤗💖
Thanks for the video; I appreciate it...I was wondering if your tray in the back is rubbing against your tongue, causing your lisp...I think that's why I have a lisp when im talking because I feel my tongue rubbing on the back tray...Thanks again for the great video.
Thanks so much for this video!! I was wondering how you handle dental hygiene during work, do you brush your teeth in the bathroom or is it enough to use mouthwash after eating? I imagine it would be quite awkward to brush especially in an office environment 🥲
I work in a hospital. I have to take my aligners out in the bathroom. I try to snag a private bathroom if I can so I can brush my teeth after lunch. I've forced myself to eat at non-peak meal times so the restrooms tend to be less busy. It's definitely been a HUGE adjustment. That, and speaking is really difficult.
I have gotten this with some of my trays as well, some are worse than others. I don't find that it necessarily went away, but some trays were just less irritating. But it doesn't bother me as much now :) On the worst ones, I used the dental wax which helped tremendously, I would really really recommend trying that if you're struggling with it 💖
About half way through, I have a year in total so it will take a while. But then I *may* need refinements after, so it could be a few months or even up to half a year longer, according to my orthodontist. It's definitely a test of patience haha!
absolutely! I am so happy I finally started my treatment after a lot of hesitation! But I don't think it's a treatment that will suit everybody's lifestyle.
My orthodontist did not offer braces, he offered Invisalign. So far, my smile looks better. And if I had braces, I would have to clean, floss, and used mouth wash to keep the braces clean from bacteria.

I was told to use Dawn dish antibacterial soap and it works wonders!!

you have really very beautiful and white teeth, normally like small crystals, and a smile is normally first class 😀😀😀

I just drop my liners in hydrogen peroxide while I’m brushing and just pick them out, wash them off and put them back on.

Why did not you choose braces; invisalign takes for ever to finish (not as perfect as braces) and even to see real changes.
My orthodontist did not offer braces, he offered Invisalign. So far, my smile looks better. And if I had braces, I would have to clean, floss, and used mouth wash to keep the braces clean from bacteria.
