🛗🟢 New elevators at McGill metro station + a new entrance! - July of 2023 in the Montreal Metro 🚇

- After waiting for months to film them, I've finally made a video of the new elevators and new entrance way at McGill metro station on the Green Line 🟢 of the Montreal Metro.
This is unique because it's not only two new elevators, but one of the elevators also connects to a completely new entrance way to the metro station, located at 705 boulevard de Maisonneuve.
Even more interesting is that inside the new entrance, there are two sets of stairs!
As you can see in the video, these sets of stairs are unique as one of them is in a curve like shape.
We begin the video on de Maisonneuve boulevard right outside the new entrance. We then make our way inside and see the first elevator which takes us directly to the Angrignon direction platform.
We then take the stairs up to the mezzanine level from the Angrignon direction platform and see the interesting curve shape. We then continue up the second set of stairs back up to street level before taking the elevator back to the mezzanine level.
Once we get off at the mezzanine level we cross across the mezzanine to the second elevator which will take us directly to the Honoré-Beaugrand direction platform.
This video was filmed on Saturday, July 1, 2p23 at approximately 10:55 PM Eastern.

Interesting how one elevator was finished before the other in the station, you would think they would be working on both at the exact same time. But otherwise those installations are pretty smooth, I'm gonna have to do some research to see what elevator company is doing these new installations in the Montreal metro.

@@SkyOfTheUniverse No like I was in the metro going to Berri-UQAM and while the metro was stopping at McGill (I was in the first or second carriage) and I saw the (idk how you call it the machine that you need a ticket and then it let you go to the dock where the metro stop) yeah I just saw this and I could have seen you but I didn’t cause I was there (in the metro) at 10 AM in the morning but not 10 PM after noon :(

Most likely next year in 2024 when that branch of the REM light metro open
