Neil seems such a genuine bloke. A real gent
Clearly a deeply skilled guy, giving any exotic car owner the calm but professional vibe. Let´s see if they can persuade Harry to let them work on some of his cars.
He's a very clever man.
He has to much knowledge haha could listen to him talk all day
He is great with cars and the best dad
I know him and he's done work for me over the years before I moved away. He really is genuine guy and that is really him. He's no different off screen. Top guy.
Hope this show gets a series 2. I loved the first series.
I hope this show is viewable in Australia. Last I checked it wasn't.
@@swampymarsh7214 I am not sure. Sorry I can’t be much help.
@@swampymarsh7214 hello I'm in Australia and I've only been able to watch the first two on CZcams so far please let me know if we can see more of it somewhere? Btw I live with someone whose last name is Marsh! Cheers Swampy Marsh hope you're safe somewhere away from the ronas mate.
@@jodyknight I also watched the first few on CZcams as people were uploading them illegally. They have all since been removed. As far as I can tell the only way to watch it is to subscribe to discovery plus but it's not available in Australia.
There's a few marsh's around but not many are related lol
Commenting here and on my own for series 2 support. Make it happen!!
What an incredibly well spoken and humble man. When talent meets humility - it's just a winning combo.
He seems such a lovely bloke. He really is living his dream. Fair play to them
Neil is a real addition to the British TV universe. A pleasant, articulate man who likes to talk about old cars.
Amazing to see and hear about this beloved car in this show, Harold was my late Uncle and Barry is my cousin, I had countless trips in their cars as a youth as did my father, Barrys Uncle and my dads brother. Incredibly small world ❤️
I actually think it's this very car that was used to take my sister to get married many years ago, Barry would undoubtedly be able to verify that. I remember Barrys father restoring this is his garage in his garden in Walnut Tree Avenue in Hereford - you have brought back some incredible memories ❤️
Imagine being an apprentice to this guy! You would learn just so much! The guy is legend! Such a lovely guy.
What a lovely guy. No edge, no ego, just humble with experience and passion. All the right qualities. I will be in touch for a quote for paintwork
Really enjoyed season 1, not as much as Clarkson's Farm (because Jeremy is just absolutely nuts!) but really hoping for a season 2.
I'd like to see more detailed mechanical stuff happening in season 2 though, getting cars up and running, and fixing problems, since season 1 seemed to focus a lot on painting and setting up the shop.
😳🤣 . Not really an ideal comment 🥺
@@cgee3999 not really an ideal reply 🥺
@@cgee3999 I'd idealize it more than anything you've ever done/said
@@cgee3999 be sure to let us all know what the rules are for making these "ideal comments" don't keep it all to yourself C Gggeeeeeezzzzzz
Certainly an aspect I was hoping for when the title previewed
I’m so proud of my dad not only does he work hard but my mum is in a wheelchair and I’m totally disabled as well and he helps me all the time there is going to be a second series but not Until later in the year
Neil's your dad? :)
Yeah
Man is a saint. Best wishes
Thank you he is pretty amazing
Tania your dad is a amazing gentleman, always pleasure to talk to, always happy with jobs he done for me even if they were smallish ones he always put 1000% effort to them. I popped to see him a while ago and was happy to show me round briefly. Both your dad and brother make that place fantastic, of course Mr H does as well but always been out when I was in haha
American car show: Right, we'll do rust fix, air ride, slam it to the weeds, crate engine, big rims, paint and I want it done in two weeks.
British car show: Yes, we've had this for a while, and saw the engine was a bit rusty so we'll refurbish that ... and this just came in for body really ... maybe we can get this finished some time next year. Big job. Presenter: Oooh that's fast... :D
The also has long working days, some of the first cars, that Richard had to bring to a auktion the had two days to finish.
and american car shows are terrible
I hope Discovery+ brings this to the US.
Frs🙄
Seriously
Tell me about it. All I got from the American Discovery+ is basically hope and pray they bring it. Not holding my breath on it, though.
Get a VPN and set it to the UK and you might then be able to get it!
@@williamadams765 some streaming services just tell you you can't use their service while running a VPN though. Is there a way around that?
It’s the nicest thing seeing a proper bloke talking about what’s happening with the show plus about all those stunning cars, it doesn’t seem like an edited/produced video but to the right limit, and I think that’s really what the automotive community want, absolutely fantastic video, fantastic pair of genuine guys talking about something they and we all love, nice one
Such a humble gentleman Neil is, can’t wait for second series to come.
Loved series 1, was disappointed when there was only 6 episodes. Can't wait for more 🤙🏻
It did feel like it ended abruptly. 6 episodes was never enough.
i felt like it stopped all of a sudden hahaha.
I'm afraid to say they don't actually need Hammond to continue this TV show, Neil is just brilliant.
Yea don't understand, title of video says Richards classic car business. Seems to me like it's Neils classic car business.
@@Marauder252 Hammond is probably just an investor/partial owner. Like I do believe he actually enjoys it and wants to work on these, but I doubt he goes in every day for 16 hours.
Hamond's new TV show will be about accounting and business finance.
Loved the show! really hope there is a season 2
he said there was didn't he or was I being hopeful??
honestly I would love to work in this area. Being able to restore machines before my time would be a fantastic experience. Plus being able to help others is always a great feeling.
You can tell how knowledgable and passionate he is about restoring cars
Such a great place, must be so satisfying bringing old cars back to showroom condition 👍
I truly enjoy Neils approach to it all, what a true craftsman he is.
I thought the show was great, but ended quite abruptly. Hoping for a series 2!
Neil is awesome, that's the type of dude I want working on my cars. So much respect and love for what he does.
Neil has a wealth of knowledge, really enjoying following what's happening in the new garage. Love the little Morris 8, my aunty had one here in Australia many decades ago. I had a couple of driving lessons in it in the late 50's when I was only 10 years old.
I really enjoy these segments! Thanks to the entire team for taking the time to film this, and hats off to all the hard-work Neil, Anthony, and Richard have been putting in!
Mike you do a great job with your calm demeanor and respectful questioning when interviewing. Really enjoy the shows. Thank you.
James Richard and Jeremy really did Branch off from the BBC and expanded their love for all things other than just talking about cars.
I believe that if Jeremy never had that incident, then we would of never had Drivetribe, Foodtribe, The Smallest cog, Diddly Squat farm, The Royal Oak pub.
I mean, I think they would of done it all, but Amazon Really injected the funds and more promoting for them three to do what they wanted to do.
The BBC would of kept them in a hole otherwise.
By 'incident', I expect you mean 'fracas'?
I hope Richard's show gets picked up by Amazon, the show has potential and could be more amazing in Amazon's hand to be level with Our man In and Clarkson's Farm
*have never, *have done, *have kept
@@cenciende9401 I think because we frequently shorten "would have" to "would've", it has become very common for people to assume it is "would of" because that is how it sounds!😀
Thanks Mike for the update on The Smallest Cog Just seeing work flowing in. The amount of enquiries from people must be extremely satisfying. I wish them all the best. The quality of work will be it's own advertisement. From what we've seen these guys are among the Elite.
Love the historically accurate antique chihuahua shop dog. Hope it has a warm corner bed to get off the the cold concrete. The shop seems to have a decent amount of projects to keep the lights on.
Neil seems like such a great guy. I hope for more success for him, the show, and shop
The man is a perfectionist, and a genius.....and I love his little dog!!!
The show has been awesome. It is so nice to see Neil so passionate about his work and cars in general. Wish all the best to the team in the new year.
Just finished watching Richard Hammonds Workshop today. Nice to see this video, answered a few questions. Also big shoutout in the series to Todd Engineering from my home town.
So true comment about Neil. Just listening to Mike’s enthusiasm and Neil’s superb gentle way of describing the work undertaken, work carried out and work on the books. Absolutely mesmerising series.
Just fantastic. So great to see the work progressing and not getting held up. Stay safe and drive when you can.
Love it. Great to see all Richard’s time and money was not wasted. More updates please.
This guy oozes passion. I have a passing interest in cars and enjoy the content, but that fella clearly loves his work. Inspiring guy, could listen to him all day
I wish this show was available in the U.S.
this is literally the first ive heard of this show i cant wait to see more builds drivetribe ROCKS!!!!
Great to see this passion! Thanks DriveTribe, thanks Richard and all the team! Greetings from Austria🙏👍
I think this has become the Mike Ferni show :D Dude is killing it.
Hats off to all these guys working in the shop for the awesome work as well!
Neil is a proper human being, a gentleman to all meanings. his work ethic and demeanor are imperative to the success of this show. Great job!
I enjoyed season 1 and am happy for Richard. Yes for season 2
I hope there’s a series 2 and it’s available in the US. I’d for sure get discovery+ to watch it!
What an excellent series for car enthusiasts to watch - really enjoyed every moment.
Love this! Keep it coming! You guys are awesome!
Would love a series 2!
Neil is such a sweetheart with a lovely voice. I truly enjoyed watching him on the show and this was a treat. :)
This was really enjoyable, great way to get an update, hope the shop AND the show is a hit!
I too hope this show keeps coming!!!!
Great stuff ! Keep 'em coming, all the best and take care !
Missed the show and the people, really waiting for season 2, Thanks DriveTribe for updating us about the workshop.
I could listen to Neil talking about restoring cars all day, genuinely a master of his craft and a rare example of peak human specialization.
Nice MGB. Gives me inspiration to continue restoring my 1978.
I hope for a series 2, great show, great team!
just watched season 1, absolutely lobed it and hope we see a season 2
Mike got left hanging there in the beginning but it was a nice save! lol 😂
I love the humbleness of this man. he truly loves cars. drivetribe has been amaxing (as an american) with helping me keep up with the boys of the old top gear. LOL
Hammond knew what he was doing when he got Neil and Anthony onboard for his business. With the addition of Andrew, I can’t wait for the 2nd series. Wishing the business lots of success!
Great to see the guys with a workshop that allows them to really exercise their talent.
I hope there will be a season 2. I really enjoyed the first season.
What an amazing car that Morris , cars bring people together so much
What a legend Neil is. So pleased the show came off.
Glad to see work is coming in. I really enjoy the show on the telly. Two really nice guys I hope it takes off for all concerned looking forward to the second series.
I desperately want to just sit on a box in that garage drinking a pint listening to the history of the cars Neil works on. Neil is a proper bloke
NIce to see the guys doing well and getting some interesting cars to work on :) All the best for the comming year
Would love to see the R type when it's done. My father in law owned a 53 R Type Continental which I was lucky enough to drive. He was an owner mechanic and did all the servicing an maintenance on the car himself. Sadly no longer with us. Superb car.
About 10 years ago, around my 21st birthday, I decided to buy a Morris 8 Series E (fixed body with sunroof), and can honestly say, what a beautiful rare car.
Regular updates on the workshop would be amazing. Great opportunity for drive tribe in a content point of view. Nice one.
What a lovely genuine man 👍👍
Looking forward to series 2 🤞🤞
Neil still seems excited ! What a passion!
Hello from Australia , can’t wait to watch the series 👍🇦🇺💕
I worked in the trade as a painter, now retired I wish I could have worked in a booth and mixing room like that👍🏻
Series 2 would be awesomeness.
Great to get a catch up on the smallest cog 👍
That story of Neil's friends car is why i love cars, the human emotions that they carry
Loved the series!
Great video
Congratulations on your hard work
Not happy that Discovery+ didn’t make it available in the US
After that desert-island show he was on, I was very nervous about Richard's new series -- but now the only downside is only getting 6 episodes to start with :D Can't wait for season 2!
Love the videos, wish we had some cars like that here in the USA. But we do have muscle cars but they are disappearing quickly. Keep up the great work.
This was really fun
I can't bear to watch RH so this was nice to see and hear people talking about cars. And not irrelevant things.
Looking forward to season 2 with more episodes
Almost at 2 million subs!!!! Congrats!!!
A shame this isn’t available on the Sky Discovery channel and requires an additional subscription ☹
Interesting chap, very knowledgable 👍 bring on S2
Would love to see a second season. Since the garage is all set and running now the next bit would have to be about all the different cars coming in.
We NEED SEASON 2. We NEED IT NOW!!!!!
Can't wait for Season 2
Nicely done...love the show...and minimal BS.. 😀😀😀
Love your work 👍
If only we could watch his show here in the US.
@The Driver’s Seat Not in the US it isn't.
When will there be new episode’s of the hammond’s workshop? Abit bummed there were only 6, i love that show!
I hope discovery know we need a series 2.
That barking sound is fun isn't it.
Looking forward to season 2
I loved what I could watch of season one, but since I live outside of GB and the episodes have been pulled from CZcams, I guess I'm out of luck. 😕
Neil. What a great guy!
