At the national house of chiefs one of Otumfuo’s paramountcies called Nana prof. Susubribi Krobea Asante is the chairman of the legal committee. He’s a Yale professor of law, and former lawyer to the to the world bank and the UN among many international positions. He was also the chairman of the committee of experts who drafted the Ghana’s constitution. There are even Supreme Court judge on the legal committee of national house of chiefs which Doormahene is just a junior member but Nana Krobea Asante is the most decorated Ghanaian lawyer out there having served in various highly reputable international committees around the world. Most importantly, he’s the Omanhene of Asokore where Brekum stool originated from. So one can imagine that Brekum stool was in the firm grips of Otumfuo because no one was going to outsmart Asokore Manhene. If you know law you don’t know better than Nana Prof Susubribi Krobea Asante who also serves under Otumfuo.

@@hueyo5317I’m shocked when the illiterates and the ignorants claim Doormahene is educated because he’s a judge. They don’t know that becoming a judge doesn’t take any special education or exams other than 5-10years experience as a lawyer. Any qualified lawyer after after that number of years qualifies to be a judge but most lawyers don’t want such position because you apparently become poor and has to be on monthly salaries from the government because a judge can’t do private practice. So it’s like a sacrificial job to serve the nation. Some experience lawyers even get call up to become Supreme Court judges even though they had not served in the lower courts. A typical example is Justice Yoni Kulande. Due to ignorance some people including educated ones like my own friend who teaches at a tertiary level even thought Doormahene was overly educated because he’s a high court judge 😂. There are a lot of chiefs who are “grandparents “ to Doormahene in terms of the law but never accepted to be called to the bench because they wanted be rich.

Facts! You couldn't have put this any better. It still baffles that people refuse to see the enormosity of Asante and that factor accounting for the existence of all manner , status and calibre of people within it both home and abroad. Asante I believe still has the highest stock of some of the most educated, successful and decorated people in all facets of our Ghanaian society yet, some mischievous ignorant folks out of shear envy like to push that illiteracy narrative. Well the Asanteman council comprises highly venerated chiefs most with excellent academic and professional backgrounds that make them fit and well endowed for leadership and befitting surboninate to Opensour himself and a typical example is my own Atwim fellow Dr Agyei Boachie (founder FOCOS hospital), a renowned physician of great astute.... recognized worldwide and highly venerated in the Medical arena of America. Some people think these folks donning clothes and Kente and sitting under umbrellas in Manhyia are some common men embellishing the courtyard of Asante Royal tradition lifted into position by some sheer bloodline selection.. For Dormaahene the least said the better... lol yes being a judge is not too lofty a thing in the world of Jurisprudence and you re perfectly right with your submission in that regard.

Great and faithful Berekum Manhene. Such faithful and honest Amanhene are needed to rule the tribes. And not the lying, rebellious, disrespectful and empty chiefs who always give false history to confuse peoples mind. I learnt in my childhood that, Asante Asokore, Asokore Mampong, Asokore Koforidua and Berekum are all brothers and this is confirmed here by the Berekum Manhene. Is it not factual that Berekum is a member of the Asanteman Council. Why are some chiefs in the Bono are trying to hide the true history of some of the towns in Bono. Note that what God has blessed will continue to be blessed.
