I am semi fluent in two languages, and I was once asked what language do I think in. This made me realize that I think by talking to myself. I dare say we all do this. So I decided to stop talking to myself while practicing meditation. For me, this helped my concentration during meditation, by leaps and bounds. Swami Vivenanda once said, "stop the breath, stop the heart, and stop talking"
