hello, I'm from Rome I bought the same grinder that you have I should cut our own Roman Travertine with this which we say is a little less hard than granite, in your opinion with the diamond disc that I have I can cut it by specifying without chipping the stone or I have to buy another one

There are diamond cutting discs without those slots specially for things like tile cutting, to prevent chipping. Not sure if they exist in 230mm size. Otherwise first use a 115 or 125mm grinder with the smooth diamond cutting blade to do the first centimeter of cutting, then proceed with the 230mm grinder to finish the depth.

I don't think it's a good idea to go walk around and stuff while the grinder is still revving down. Just have 30 seconds of patience to let it come to a full stop, then lay it down. An accident with this tool will be very gore. Perhaps even use an extension cord with a switch in it so you can turn off the power with 1 hand before putting it down, so you cannot accidentally hit the trigger.
