you don’t score for hitting a ball out of the park, you score for someone running the bases. So giving half a point for half a ball going out makes 0 sense
@@andrewgorman8331 if they hit the ball over the fence, and don’t run the bases it’s not a point. Because the points come from the batter running the bases, the ball going out just means their run can’t be stopped

@@andrewgorman8331 when you get 2 or 3 due to getting a point based on players crossing the plate, not ball going over the fence
