Just picked up an MPC 500 at a pawn shop and so far it works. Looking for instructions and tips on how to us it, I ran across your video. This is a very good bit of info compared to the others I have seen today. Thanks for taking the time out to do this.

Just subbed… dope trick with the slider and that warble effect! You can also chop by number with math, make a perfect loop, check the sample end number and divide, use a calculator then enter in the numbers manually with the numeric button and the pads. There are so many good tricks and workarounds on the 500.

Thanks . Yes this gear seems simple but is so powerful. I did the math chopping before but switch to ear chopping and never step back to the math. Just reine that I forget to share other tricks I use less but keep in my 500 tool box.
