The Hebraic mindset is always CIRCULAR not linear. This basic understanding can help people understand the historic/cultural context of the whole New Testament. We desperate need more teaching like this from everyday pulpits. God is deconstruction the old Wineskins of institutionalized church framework. Shake shake and Bake bake.

Ah that’s interesting about eating together. Many exclusive religious groups don’t want to eat with others. But Jesus wants to commune with us, always. I love this message.

Jacob lived quite a long time, as did his ansestors. We should not think that the further we go back in history that it equaled to shorter natural life expectancy.
