- Just received my new Epiphone 355 and it's awesome. Lot of people posting the white version so I thought I'd give some quick looks at the stunning cherry version. If you're on the fence I'd recommend this with no hesitation. This is as good as it gets #epiphone #gibson #guitar
Love mine . New 10's adjust truss and Bridge BOOM !
Cant wait for mine to come!!! Beautiful brother, enjoy
After spending time with it it's even better than I could have imagined. Reminds me of my old 2015 Gibson Memphis 335. Glad for you that you are getting one! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Mine shipped today from Zzounds.
What was the wait time?
I preordered one yesterday here (UK) says April 2025 😭 hoping that changes to be honest.
@@MuckyPumps yooooo wtfffff I ordered mine May 10th still waiting for a tracking number. If it's next year I'll just take my money back at this point lol
@@joeseher9453 I’m gonna wait. Wanted a 355 for so long. This is the best I can get for now. Finance lol
Congratulations on getting the new IGC Epiphone 1959 ES-355! Looks gorgeous. You can see the wood grain. You’re right the case alone is a step up. I have the LP Custom in Alpine White. And it absolutely looks immaculate. Sometimes, I end up just looking at it.
Anyway, my IGC Epiphone ES-355 in Ebony is in transit. My first-ever semi-hollow body. Subscribed!
Appreciate the sub and nice words. I do the same lol the guitar is literally in my lap right now. Those LPs are something special, too. But glad to hear you're going the Semi route! You'll never be the same 😆 that black is a nice choice for sure and rare, right? I read you can only get it directly in that finish
@@TheDahveeed After I got the white LP Custom , and was impressed, I immediately thought of getting the Ebony version. But, then I heard that the ES-355 was the best and offers the most value among the new IGC Epiphone’s. And since I already have a black LP Custom (ie, a 2012 MIK 3-pick up Black Beauty), I decided on the ES-355 in Ebony instead. You’re right, it’s an Epiphone exclusive. How do you like the VOS finish?
I haven't been able to find any footage of the guitar in Ebony. Mind uploading a quick video of it when it arrives?
@@DanSny I intend to but is taking me a long time. Busy at work. Please allow me to direct you to this. The channel has so far released 3 videos on the Ebony 1959 ES-355.

@@DanSny I really enjoy their VOS finish. Feels like Gibson's Satin finish. And I'm not getting the ebony lol I thought you said you were
The VOS finish is a deal-breaker for me. But, this Epiphone IGC 1959 ES-355 is so good to pass up. So, I went ahead and bought one in Ebony - my very first semi-hollow. Took it to a luthier for a set-up - he was impressed and called it a Gibson. Sounds, feels and plays great. The VOS finish? I still don’t like it. So, I’m working on it. When it’s done, it will be my very own custom 1959 ES-355.
Hint: it’s coming out really good!
Lovely!!!!
Just smile and start paying.
Did you ever play an Eastman t486. Wonder which is better
Never gotten to play one in person but I did look into them heavily before. The pickups, finish, and appointments are great but I cannot stand the odd shape. Like a skinny, stretched out 335 similar to some 70s Gibsons. Just looks off
Not sure I like the less defined top contouring of the body…
@@SolarVergmoid this is the most accurate Epiphone has done in that regard. That's something that drives me nuts on their standard models but it's way better here. Particularly over the cutaways
@@TheDahveeed I actually have one on the way. The LAST cherry one from Canada. We’ll see I guess. Thanks.
@@SolarVergmoid hopefully it meets expectations for you. I'm still in love with it
