Kate is all in on this one. She just nails a certain kind of song and singing and walks that thin line between making fun of something and having fun with something. She is missed.
Agreed, sur!! Spot on! What I miss even more is Tina Fey writing for the show, along with being in it. The seasons after she left have been grim, in my opinion. I don’t even watch it look forward every week to watching this show anymore, which I hate to admit.
I grew up as a young kid watching this show (no bedtime restrictions for me!) and have always be loved it, but something has been off for several years. I still have hope, though.

Easily the funniest thing I've seen on SNL in a long time. As soon as the premise drops it takes such a hard left into crazy town. When that tampon cauliflower hit the screen I couldn't breathe.

When she was a writer for SNL, she sometimes appeared as a background extra or side character. But yeah, if she made more appearances, she could have been a cast member.

She told us every decade we have a competition and whoever could grow the biggest tampoon by fall would be crowned the harvest queen and chosen of Demeter. It was my eldest sister Ebisaleth who won the competition. As queen of the harvest my sisters served Bissy's every need until the Blood moon in March where she would be sacrificed to hades so that Persephone could be reunited with the great Demeter for 12 years. That year we got the greatest harvest of tampoons enough to last us a decade...
