Hi Steve. The values have increased dramatically over the past few years. Hagerty Insurance value 1990 1.6 GTIs between £6900 and £27000 depending on condition (Fair to Concours). A lot of 205s are no longer with us due to being summoned to the scrap yard or wrapped around trees, but we are pleased to have kept ours original and going strong. Thanks, John @thecarburettor

Some of them r like £2k because of the modifications boy racers screwed em with. When in reality they should really be £100 max to buy.
