Me thinking to myself: "What a god-awful piece of ostentatious crap!" Me to Gaspipe: "Mr. Casso, what an elegant, tastefully-done estate you have here".
Best comment😂
Casso was a true depiction of what these mob guys were really like. Greedy, low class and psychotic. Casso, in particular stands out among them as one of the more brutal murderers without remorse or loyalty except to the almighty dollar.
Not all mob guys especially the old school mod guys were greedy low class psychopaths. As a matter of fact the mustache Pete's referred to themselves as men of honor. I do agree casso was greedy and psycho but he doesn't speak for all made men.
same thing with sammy gravano
Gase pipe, Gotti and Scarfo the three stooges that ruined La Cosa Nostra.
@@rudykadous4005 So its ok to be a greedy lowlife psychotic killer as long as you don't rat anyone out because that's what "men of honor" really means, and of course before RICO, the bosses were never put in a position where they had to rat out anyone because they were so well insulated!
Low class?? He was a millionaire look at his house!
Being in the mafia is better than being a Hollywood star. When I get to da restaurant they get chu in rite away. You get da besta foods besta wines. They know your a gangsta they know what chu are. Anthony aka gaspipe.
That's classic. Also how many times did you shoot him idont know 3or 4 maybe a little more. 15/16t tmes
It’s called making a reservation 😂😂😂👌👌👌
@@ThePaulmirto I Neder torted him maybe shot him a cuppal times. Mmm may 12 maybe 15. I Donna remember I didn’t shoot him in da head it’s a messy I was in a friends house. Mmm
@@russcooke5671 🤣 being in the mafia you also get a free happy meal.
@@volkanayyldz889 is that an offer you can’t refuse
I felt bad for the architecture guy who got whacked but now I've seen the house...... 😳 Casso might be getting a not guilty from me.
😂
It sure looks like a house built with stolen materials. Reminds me of stuff I'd build as a kid with free scraps that I would make fit to the best of my abilities. It's also giving me a major Long John Silvers vibe lol.
Lol
He was never in the WITSEC (witness protection) - he never even made it out of prison. He made a plea deal that would have allowed him to serve only 5 years in prison and then once released he would be in WITSEC. The prosecutor welched on the deal citing Gas’s continued criminal activity in prison and in turn he was sentenced to life. You’re welcome.

Not to mention Casso was just incapable of telling the truth even after cooperating he was completely and utterly full of shit. He never had an FBI agent on his payroll
Even Norman Bates wouldn’t live in that scary looking house.
lol
😆 🤣 😂 😹
Bigger isn't always better. This house wouldn't look out of place in a re-make of the Munsters. Cheers from Australia
I guess he liked big and ugly
Casso actually used to do favors for ppl that lived in his neighborhood. For example one rich doctor that lived next door was telling him one day how he was annoyed with this kid who kept coming around his daughter, trying to date her- and the neighbor worried that his daughter would actually fall in love with this kid and it would ruin her chances of being married to someone who had their shit together and would turn out to be somewhat successful. So Casso had the kid murdered and he was stuffed in a trunk. The neighbor never brought it up to Casso again - after seeing it in the newspaper - but was shocked Gaspipe took it to that extent. The neighbor just wanted the kid beat up and warned not to come around anymore lol.
That's not true
@@JB-bp6rw yes it’s in his book
If Casso had moved in, that house would have been filled with “da besta foods, and da besta wines” 😂

@@AY-qy4jn good catch. Corrected 👍🏼
Another awesome video and dashcam tour!!! I love these! Your vids are so relaxing. Keep ‘em coming.
Da besta foods da besta wines

He used to have bullet proof shutters on every window. The house didn’t look like the current house when he built it.
Wow
I bet he had sound proof rooms so he could do his daily work without being interrupted 😂
Really?
True story.
But it was only slightly less obnoxious.
Slightly.
Just google “Anthony Casso house”
You’ll see what I mean.
Obviously the next owner had even less taste than Casso.
Which is almost un fathomable.🤯👍🥃
Nice job. That interview was by Ed Bradley on 60 Minutes.
Great job. Keep em coming
That house sure is unique. Awesome video Mooney.
👍
Hell yea !!!! I like it too. !!! Can you imagine how beautiful it is inside. !!! Wow. ! Looks like it's on the water. ????
Thought it was just me, don't find the exterior ugly at all
That neighborhood looks more suburban rather than Brooklyn. Gorgeous houses!
Just stumbled upon your channel. I love NYC and it's mob history. Gaspipe did a "60 Minutes",
"Nah, I didn't torture the kid". "I may have shot him maybe once or 20 times, I don't remember".
Only a real estate agent or a New Yorker would know this, although these homes are not large
I think the price tags are very High. Great channel.
Thank you!
Thanks for this MDC , I learned a lot I didn’t know prior. Neat house too! Love your tours
Nice house, jeez that's barely a home right there, some kind of tetris game gone wrong perhaps.. 😎
I always enjoy yourTours👍🏻

Oh that was a great video moony, thanks for doing a segment on gaspipe, that was really interesting, one of your best videos, and where have you been buddy haven't seen you in a good while😊
These videos are great. Loving this channel!
Great video, I love videos like this, keep it up.
Tasteless piece of murderous crap built a tasteless house.Another good one my friend, excellent 👍
For a short time I live through your eyes - thank you I love it 🕊🕊🕊
👀
2:53 the Riviera convertible, still looks mint, $25k brand new in '82, always nice rides in brooklyn
Quite interesting to say the least Mooney. Funny side note. A similar situation happened where I lived just a few doors down from me. It happened a month before in August same year. Drug dealers were able to buy a house just 2 doors down. They ended up murdered. My husband and I woke up to what looked like the whole freaking police force on our block. It was crazy. My eldest son was just born. Good times! Lol.
I like your videos bro..your real..and your storys are real!! Thank you✌🇺🇸
👍👍
Mooney u the man bro 👍keep it up thanks
Great video as always. Like the neighborhood. It would be cool if you were allowed to look inside these mob houses.
Maybe next time I’ll pop out a window and sneak around lol
@@MOONEYDashCam I'll be the lookout in the tree costume. LOL
Jeez don't get Mooney Dash Cam arrested.
Great video!

Thank you for the video about Gaspipe and his house.
Thanks for watching Doug
Another great one. Quite a neighborhood huh
That house is menacing as hell looking. I really enjoy your tours Mr Mooney, thank you.
Thanks lee
Any smart person wouldn't want to be anywhere near Gaspipe Casso. Not even a casual encounter.
A small percentage of mob guys, even among the killers, were absolute maniacs.
If he thought you were getting even a little bit cute with him, you'd be dead.
Maybe hes just misunderstood lol
Really interesting video, great research and drive to the house.
Great job Amigo 👏. Pura Vida from Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Thanks for the video..... amazing mansion!!!!
Awesome Video brother ! Kep up the great work
Awesome content. Lovin the mob stories!

Man thats one ugly, out-of-place looking house, imo. 2.4M on the Zillow listing ? 🤔 Me to Realor: " Nah, keep driving ! "
Wow! No wonder the architect got killed. That’s got to be one of the ugliest houses I’ve ever seen. 😂🤦🏼♂️

Hey Mooney, congrats on your channel growing and doing such a good job on these videos first. But have you ever met any of these mobsters that you have done a video on?
Thank you John. No I’ve never met any of them that I’ve done a video on
@@MOONEYDashCam probably a good thing
Btw love your channel..surfed it for like 3 days in a row..
Love hearing that
The architect who designed that house must have been under a lot of stress.
He was blackballed from the profession and his architecture school permanently rescinded his degree after seeing this unholy abomination.
He was actually a longtime associate of the Lucchese family. He had built homes for other capos and soldiers in the family before but Casso worried the FBI would try to flip him since Fava had so much insight on Cassos financials records
@@BostonsF1nest Thank you for your insight.
He was also killed by Casso.
@@backagain5216 There is no doubt about that.
It was just that he died in prison.may God have mercy on his soul.was it worth it all?more bad memory's than good were those that he left behind. To the family of his victims remains the hurt and sorrow that he caused.so I send out a big prayer for them all and mostly for God to pardon this man for his misdeads.thank you all
LOTS of very nice houses going through this whole neighborhood!
Very wealthy part of Brooklyn
He could of made a criminal living just whacking contractors. Hired by middle class home owners.
Looks like a disco prison.
I knew something about Gaspipe's temper, killing sprees, his two "pet NYPD cops", and turning snitch, all from the documentaries on him... However, this is the first I ever heard about him murdering the guy that designed the home he never really got to live in! You know, it actually LOOKS like the gaudy type of structure a crook of any kind would reside at! Now that you mention it, I think I actually HAVE seen that place from the Beltway before... If I remember right, it's only a stone's throw from that one gas station (Either a BP or a Mobil, I think) that sits in the middle of the highway...

Called gasspipe because when he lost his temper he would explode was like a burst gasspipe
Often Pummelled Fuckers To A Pulp With A Pipe As Well,Meh... 🤷🏻♂️
He inherited the name from his father who would crack heads with a 8 inch. Piece of a gas pipe
Gas was living at the time before he went on the lam on East 72nd street between Ave U and V and that is Bergen Beach Brooklyn. I know because I lived 2 blocks away and new him his wife and kids. I could go on and on but can’t . Great video though !!

Hey BTW LOVE the videos I'm a mobologist myself I've read a TON of mob info guys in the life ,the rules ( which nobody follows anymore barely) anyway keep the videos coming I have a library full of yours 4:17. I see the house EVERY day on the belt pkwy
Nice little video. Hey , your driving on the wrong side of the road. Love from Western Australia xx
Great video bro, Truck sounds fixed😁
Somethings always wrong but yeah it’s much better
You're paraphrasing from the 60 minutes interview with Ed Bradley and Anthony Casso, which can be watched here on youtube, in it's entirety.. Regardless, thanks for the video and keep up your labor of love.
The besta-windows, the besta-doors
He died of COVID last year in prison.
I believe I mentioned that in the video, he also had cancer
Seems it was built with what was left over from other buildings.
Hahaha
Nice work.
Just outstanding.
Whatsup moody. Good video. Thank you for putting rat up there The ppl need to know even if they don’t watch the video.
Very good stuff!!
Sounds like such a charming man. How could he. Poor gas pipe
I feel like that house would be a lot better if it were more secluded. It’s kinda in a random spot
Just a little correction, Gaspipe was not an informant, he was a cooperating witness. He flipped after he was arrested and charged and then worked a deal out with the government. An informant would be someone who works with the government while they’re out on the street, whether they’re wearing a wire or the gathering information about the organization they are a part of to provide for the government
Of course the one time I just don’t call him a rat I use the incorrect word lol. Thanks for the info I’ll remember that for further videos
Informant-Cooperator-Snitch-Rat-Stool Pigeon-ALL BAD!
When the guy on 60 minutes said you shot him maybe 15 times Gaspipe giggles a bit and said yeah maybe, he was a truly rotten man in my opinion, good work Mr Mooney its always a pleasure.
Terrible dude for sure
That's not a opinion. He was a complete P.O.S.
Not every boss killed their builders that built homes for them! Casso just happened to be a coo coo bird!! 😆
Only a madman does something like that.
Boss of what?
