Jeff yes I was going to mention that,,,his face while doing the limp wrist is just too much LOL,,,,sadly though it fits WAY to well for the limp wrist types if you know what I'm saying (and no I don't meen gay spacificly ).
Came here to say how much I enjoyed the facial expressions during the limp wrist test. I watch too many review videos, but rarely find myself that amused.

I’ve shot many handguns over my 31 year career as an LEO. Although this gun may not be suited for all, it serves my purpose perfectly. Just picked this up and ran 250 rounds of mixed 9 mm rounds flawlessly.
That’s some stellar accuracy at 27 yards with that little plinker; very impressive. 😲

Yes!! That may have actually pushed me towards the Max9. I was very serious about the sig 365. Till I saw that. I probably can't match it. But at least I know what it is capable of👍
Might be a "little plinker" but with that auto option to unload an entire mag in about 2 seconds you aint getting away and will be taking a forever dirt nap
I like it. I'm glad it's double stacked and still very small. It looks like a Ruger LCP and a Security had a baby. And I love the fiberoptic sights

I agree i have an LC9S and Security 9 compact. It looks as if they melded those two pistols together.
It has Tritium glow at night also!!! Best micro for the loot.
The limp wrist test with facial expressions should be required for all gun reviews!

Sometimes I think I watch your range reviews just for the faces you make during your limp wrist tests! But you always give a great review, provide great information, and I love how you present them! My favorite CZcams channel by far!

Thanks for the review, it helped me out today. I was fortunate enough that my LGS had the p365, hellcat, shield plus, and the max9 all in stock today. After handling all 4, their last Max9 came home with me. Ruger packed tons of value into this gun and the price point is outstanding.

I have the Max 9's predecessor, the Ruger EC9. A nice little 9, nice trigger, plenty accurate. But now I'v convinced myself I need the extra capacity of the Max 9. Thanks for another great review!

Not sure how I missed this last week. Glad I caught up. You know Dan it appeared that the Security 9 actually had a bit more muzzle "flip" or "rise" than the max9. Great review
I just picked up one. I really like rugers and the customer service. I needed something that was easier to conceal. The security 9 is a bit on the bulky side. This and my lcp2 are great conceal carry firearms. Awesome review
Same here. I picked up the Max9 a couple months ago and love it. I recently added a Holosun 407k red dot to it and that brought my speed and accuracy up a lot. I’m also a Ruger fan and have an LCP2 as well. I took my LCP2 to the range for the first time and after about a hundred rounds, the extractor blew off. I was just using plain old .380 FMJ target ammo and my slide locked open on half a mag. The empty cartridge was still in the chamber and then I noticed the extractor was missing. Game over. I looked around and finally saw it on the floor in front of my bench. I wasn’t about to go looking for the spring on a live range. I think what happened is, the retaining pin worked loose and then blew out completely.
I took it back to the gun store and they sent it back to Ruger. It’s been about 10 days now and I haven’t heard anything yet. But Ruger is well-known for great customer service and I should have it back in a few days. I imagine they’ll just replace the whole slide instead of screwing around replacing 3 parts that are missing. Great little gun though and it performed flawlessly for the first hundred rounds. Can’t wait to get it back and try it out again.
I knew that wouldn't be a disappointing range review. I will be keeping my eyes open for this locally. And the Shield plus. Great video as always
