The only thing that doesn’t add up is the Martian Manhunter scene that Snyder shot was with Green Lantern appearing, not J’onn J’onzz. There was a different actor “on set” when they shot it. There’s behind the scenes footage of the scene being shot. It was changed because WB told Snyder he couldn’t use GL and put Martian Manhunter in instead. I’m not taking any sides here, but I thought it was an interesting inconsistency in the story to point out. Take from that what you will.

WB’s first mistake was letting Zack Snyder anywhere near a DC property.
Social Media unfortunately is a Pandora's box. It is very helpful to unite good people and ideas and unite bad people and bad ideas. Information at your fingertips in a second but no way to know if it is fact or not.

I read what I could from the article through other journal sources.
Admittedly, I was a passive supporter of the movement, mainly out of curiosity of what film could have been. But I had no interest in issuing death threats or promote, cause I always believe that that's a step too far to go when complaining about products meant for entertainment (With the exception of cases where the product contains questionable content of sorts which I personally feel worth highlighting).
In regard to the article, whether the contents are legit or not are irrelevant. I think it's more important to be open to the possibility of it being true and look into it in more detail to truly confirm its accuracy or not, rather than just mainly push it to the other side.
As for the reactions online, well, I'll say that there is some truth to that part of the article that I feel has more absolute legitimacy if that's how people respond to what it is written (Assuming they read it in the first place).
I personally think if we take a look at this article, we must do the same for FORBES' Article. Which highlights the strong points of Rolling Stones' say, and the massive, clear story's that simply don't add up which they display.
I don't know how it started, but Snyder obtained a pretty nutty diehard fandom over the years. It's like a bunch of edgelords gathered to worship Snyder, and they go about attacking anyone who just doesn't get his "glorious film-making."

John, just because 13% of accounts were fake doesn't mean they only made 13% of posts. The whole problem with bots is that they can post a huge amount. You can have one bot that makes as many posts as 10 real people.
I'm not shocked these fandoms have become cults and we are living in a time where people are so desperate to believe in something in someone they are willing to do anything to please the people they believe in and alot of these so called leaders use them for their own personal gain

What is the whole point of this article in the first place? The movie came out over a year ago. Everyone has moved on. The timing of this article just seems too suspicious to me.

While the article may be smoke & dust (in terms of authenticity) it's increasingly becoming more concerning that some of it regarding Snyder & Fisher may be true as the timeline keeps matching.
The Snyder Cut is decent. Not high art, but not total garbage; just a decent superhero movie
I am not surprised in the slightest. I feel during this whole thing Snyder just kept posting bits and pieces on social media. Just to keep the fire burning for as long as it took. He just came across as very petty to me at least. And this is why he will never get to do a big studio tentpole again.

Rob has always got a great response and is accurate. Studio so interfered with these DC movies that were not allowed to be as awesome as the Ultimate and Snyder Cut were.

Honestly, I believe it all. Snyder has never condemned his more vitriolic supporters and just seems to be happy watching them on the sidelines. I can absolutely see him using them to gain in his professional life. Also the timeline of his fan’s attack patterns make a little too much sense.
I always liked Zach Snyder, but this story makes me want to criticize him just to see they reactions i get.
I never craved for the Snyder cut as much as fans did... To me it only made sense if they were gonna continue in that universe which at this point seems unlikely.

It just comes across as a hit piece against Snyder to me. It’s curious that it came out the same day Zack Snyder’s Justice League is being released for digital purchase. But whatever I guess.
The movie has been on HBO forever. People who wanted to see it have seen it. The idea that this is timed to hurt the few thousands of dollars in sales of the digital release is a joke. And the tactic of just dismissing it like this instead of adressing the points is evidence to prove her points
I personally think the DCEU needs to reboot and start fresh. But, I would have also liked Snyder to finish his actual vision, but I think that is extremely unlikely, and wouldn't be upset if it does or does not happen.
The last 12 years of social media pertaining to Politics, movie fandom, music, LGBTQ+, Me Too, BLM, Proud Boys, Gun Activist, womens rights, etc. has really shown how gullible, and fragile minded the collective voice of the people are. There’s very little decency left in most people today, it’s just sad.
I enjoyed Snyder's Justice League but the way he interacts with and kinda washes his hands of his fans actions always concerned me. Yes the Snyder Cut people have done some good things but by and large they have been extremely toxic and Snyder himself has done nothing to quell that.

The reality is that studios dont blacklist artists. Executives blacklist artists. And so it’s not unusual to find an actor or director back in the good graces because the old executive team has left. That said, I can’t see him choosing to work in a supervised big studio environment again.
I think to a point Zack Snyder was right. He doesn't control the actions of other people. That being said, he still could have made a post on Vero and tweeted out something to the effect of asking his fans not to negatively review someone else's movie and that the actions of the studio and producers has nothing to do with another director or cast and crew of another film.

It does not match all the nice things the actors in the film said about him, and all the nice videos they showed on socialmedia showing to support him. I even remember Zack saying in a videostream interview that he hated the toxic fans and told them to quit.

I'm fine with the "Release the Snyder Cut" movement actually and am happy for them for accomplishing/getting what they want. However, the movement turned to worst after the release of the movie because that was the time when they started spamming all hbo or wb movies with the hashtags.
Unlike some, I have clean hands. Some may be seeing this now, but I have notices a long while ago and have been advocate for better behaviors. It's not new, and it should stop.
I have never liked Zack Sunders work. JL was not a good movie. To be honest they tried to do too much. It needed 4 hours just to make the story make sense and flow. That is a bad script. I agree the Snyder cut was better but not that much better. It still was not a good movie. They just shined up a turd and people bought it because of the hype.

They didn’t. WB asked for a light Avengers style film when he started shooting it, he comes back with what is essentially BvS Pt 2. in terms of tone (now that we’ve seen his cut). The point is that regardless of whether some of the ALLEGATIONS are true, the toxicity is all real.
When Moses Ingram was being cyber-bullied, from Lucasfilm to Ewan himself, they all spoke out against toxicity and insisted fans be better, while also promoting positivity, talking about how nice and talented she is.
So, unless I've missed something, why doesn't Snyder speak out against the toxicity?
