- In the conclusion of this introductory series, we discuss the basics of computed tomography (CT) urography, bladder and urethral diverticula, and scrotal pathology including varicocele, epididymo-orchitis, and testicular neoplasm.
Topics include:
1) CT urography post-processing techniques: maximum intensity projection (MIP) and 3D volume-rendered (VR) imaging.
2) Appearance of transitional cell carcinoma in the ureters and bladder on excretory phase CT mages.
3) Papillary necrosis.
4) Weigert-Meyer rule for duplicated collecting systems and tips to remember it.
5) Urethral diverticula appearance on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and voiding cystourography (VCUG).
6) Scrotal varicocele and the importance of recognizing the implications of right-sided versus left-sided.
7) Acute scrotal pathology: testicular torsion and epididymo-orchitis.
8) Differentiating seminomatous and non-seminomatous testicular neoplasms via ultrasound.

Great work! 😀
Thank you!
Excellent explanation of the Weigert Meyer rule
I love the mnemonics 👍🏼
Thank you so much
That's great to hear, thank you for the feedback!
Your lectures are amazing thank you!
Glad you like them, thank you!
Thanks. Brings up memories of my uroradiologic experience. ZLB
You're welcome, and I hope it was a good experience!
thank you, your videos are amazing.
Thanks so much, I appreciate the feedback!
Good video.
Thank you, the video is amazing
That's great to hear, and glad you liked it!
Excellent!
Thanks!
great talk as usual. one point is huge bladder diverticula cause double micturition if I am correct. ie once main bladder is emptied, urine from diverticula drains into bladder and patient will have urge again. correct me if I am wrong
Thank you Ravindra! You are correct, that is indeed a potential symptom of larger urinary bladder diverticula. Similar to how female urethral diverticula can cause post-void dribbling due to delayed emptying. Urinary stasis can occur in large diverticula which increases risk of urinary tract infection.
Nice
Thanks!
Benign prostatic hyperplasia. In video benign prostatic hypertrophy.....!
Excellent point, many urologists now prefer the term hyperplasia to hypertrophy. Next time I'll just say "BPH" to avoid controversy :)
NICEKY EXPLAINED THUMBS UP THOUGH LESS DETAILED :)
Thanks for liking!
