  • We have the Nova, and we have the parts. It's time to build the burnout beast!
My Nova is a 72 and came in pretty reasonable shape. but the straight 6 and automatic trans had to go. Now we are installing a more modern V8 and a 6 speed manual to really bring the Nova up to par.
This video is just the begging, and we start simple with the brakes. after that we can start handling the engine swap, suspension upgrades, new wheels and tires, interior update, and paint. This is going to be one sweet ride!

There’s a nova for sale for 5k and it runs, is it worth it?

Had a 70 Challenger with 440 it had 4 wheel drum breaks it wasn't bad.. and it wasn't great either..,
Also 69 Ell Camino SS 396 had 4 wheel drum . Went to junk yard pull off disc. Upper & lower control arms with the spindlesdisc brake assembly 71 Chevrolet wagon . For $ 250 . This was in 1977 . After market didn't really exists. Until the mid 80s . It's nice to see a young guy ( your channel) that uses their brain. Most guys today can't find the dip stick. Let alone change the oil or a tire . When my daughter can change out a tire in a rain storm while working securty at Groom lake when she was 18 yrs. And an expert marksman.. 17 yrs and she still in the air force..wow.

Cool project. I also put an LT1 into my 71 Nova. I did get rid of the optispark, though. I got a cool conversion kit from Torqhead that looks really good. Also in SoCal :D
