A fabulous narrator
Interesting story and presented beautifully by an outstanding actress. Not many narrations are good enough to raise a good story to the level this one reaches. One only wishes the author could hear it.

Is this legit ? Is it really by Agatha Christie?
That's a good question, in recent years I've seen stories written under Agatha Christie but they were really written by authors given permission by the Christie estate.
I looked this up, and it looks like Dame Agatha really wrote it. It was first published in 1926 in the Sovereign Magazine according to the article. Like you, I wondered if it was "authentic". It's a new one to me too.

@@Lit-Lens I'm not sure why, but I just watched this all the way through without a single ad! I do follow several CZcams channels and at times am frustrated by ads (usually in languages I don't know, and often for products I would never use!). So I was happy that this story was not broken up by ads. It's the first time I have listened to anything on your channel, so will now go and see what other delights you have in store :)
