Tabi ager tech transfer hojata toh tejas ko develop krne m aur kam time laga hota. Uske tech advantages aur disadvantages se sikh ke hm apne upcomming projects ko aur acha kar pate.

Yaar SU 30 has already been manufactured by HAL for the last 30 years with only 20% components imported from Russia. Now HAL has stated manufacturing to buildup losses. India was not assembling plant but a manufacturing plant less 20%.

The main advantage is that India will have Russian engine technology plus American engine technology plus either french and British engine other than our own kaveri engine technology, which would give us advance technology to develop our own future advance engine technology. 👈👍

I thing it's a good que. Even super sukhoi is not top of the line. Rafael & eurofighter are still considered more advance. Will india get al41 latest ingine tot? Which is uses in PakFa? I guess not.

Days of fighter jets and tanks are over. You see what happened to tanks and fighter jets in Ukraine war and Israel conflict. India is obsessed with old technologies. India should have focused modern drone technologies, hypersonic missiles, modern anti missiles protections and cyber warfare.
India is already developing drones and missiles of all kinds.
Also those same protections can be used on fighters which can penetrate enemh airspace and destroy their capacity to wage war.
I don't agree. India is making those things you mention indigenously. With this tech transfer, India is becoming a major hub for defence manufacturing and can counter the stolen technology/ poor quality Chinese exports to many nations who can't afford Western Equipment. This is a masterstroke by Russia and India to counter China because Russia cannot compete with Chinese manufacturing!
I think you're forgetting that the only reason ukraine is still surviving is because of the tanks and other vehicles given to it by nato. Yes, this war has also highlighted the importance of drones and other technology BUT imo the era of tanks and jets being completely over is a little far-fetched.
@@user-lb8bg6kj9m india has scrapped the "Rustam" project. Most senctioned nations like Iran and Turkey have already developed effective drone technologies. India is paying more than market price to lease drones from US just for surveillance. Only private players are hope.
