Well, after 3 weeks away at work i decided to go up north and try for some wild brown trout , which proved to be very hard going. This was the first decent day after the July heatwave , so it was always going to be tough . But sometimes it is just great to be out with the dog, the fly rod and just go for a wander and enjoy bonnie Scotland ...

Love that place fish it at least once every season since the late 70s like yourself on the club bus used to run down to the bottom fish for two hrs and then run back up and where my grandson caught his first brownie👍👍👍👍

Near flat calm ur over gunned with 3fly cast better with single fly size 14 slow retreave not surprised u blanked need a blow to fish fast with a team of flys but god loves a trier tight lines pal

Good video sir can't believe you can't catch a fish for this loch I prefer going down right hand side doesn't get hammering as much prefer going up the river and fishing lochs up the back

This trip was just after the heatwave a month ago, maybe just put off the recent heat at the time ..I enjoyed the day though , im going back up soon

@@Stevie_ONeill_Flyfishing it happens even on loch that's loaded with fish happened to me couple of years ago fishing other side was on loch with my mate for 6 in morning nothing for about 3 hours flat calm then wind picked up and it was fish after fish then wind dropped away and went dead again its amazing how it goes like that

@@neilandrew961 Yeah i happens , i was probably too soon after the heatwave . I came home from offshore itching to getting out . The afternoon was gonna be tough ...I'll be going back and i'll do another video ..

Good its great place to fish have been trying to get a day up there but just not happened this year keep the videos coming they great especially seeing you guys out fishing it always behind a vice
