Got mine coming Tuesday before my biggest cut of the season. My little corded chainsaw only does so much.. you’ve made my decision, I can now take on bigger jobs.

Idk craftsman new tools are killing it. I had a Remington rustler weed whacker. On the first try it broke but the craftsman starts up on two pulls now. I definitely stand by craftsman products. I'm just watching this vid before I go get the saw just because that's the responsible thing to do.

I hear really good things about, I bought one myself, I should’ve got the 18” they come with a fancy hard case for the chainsaw 😁

I’m very impressed with this chainsaw. It starts easy and it works very well. And the price was great.

I have the 16" version of this and I'm impressed with how well it works for the price. Works as or better than my dad's 16" Stihl.

Thanks for the video friend. I purchased one right after. My first new chainsaw too. I needed it for same use as you. Craftsman has an unbeatable warranty too.

I have this saw. Actually one of the best saws for the money that I have ever owned. My saw owning days go all the way back to Lombards. I have Stihls and Remingtons and have owned Huskys too. My go-to saw for around the property is my Craftsman 14".

My wife bought me a craftsman 42cc 18" back in 2000 . I still have it and it's going strong.
I have never had to worked on the engine but have changed out the bar, chains, oil pump.
    Lowe's has the 14" for 159.00

Thanks for the review, I'm on my way out to get one. But a word of advise, you might want to invest in some safety glasses, and hearing protection and while you're at it look up how to properly cut a tree on youtube, that first cut you made nearly fell on you.

Mine was new out of the biz I followed all starting procedures and was very hard to start take over 100 pulls almost took it back emptied all the gas mix and chain oil out and left it for a bit , then right before I loaded it up in the truck 🛻 tried it again it gave some life and within 5-6 pulls started up ! I added mor mix and let it run for a bit shit it off and restarted perfectly

Kool, I may try it or the Kobalt 40v 14" saw. Ah when I don't want to work. I'll tell the folks the battery died. Lol. I have a Stihl ms192tc in the shop right now. So this will be a stand by.

You are a danger to your self.No safety equipment and not knowing the correct way to fell a tree.I might also mention the chain was not adjusted correctly.Read the operators manual. That little chainsaw might be the most dangerous tool you will ever use.Stay safe learn to use it the right way...
