I'm not going debate about the other categories but the stage presence ranking ?! That was a whole mess... Ain't no way Hongjoong's that low in stage presence... The demon line San, Seonghwa and Hongjoong are basically known and named for that....

I can agree with it tho. I love San but when he is in his high register he tends to sound a bit shouty, and yunho sounds more controlled. But then San has a beautiful falsetto as well, itâs a mix up. But for me I think itâs not bad, also just because your the lead vocal does not mean that someone else canât get better than you over time

4. Seonghwa
5. Hongjoong/Jongho (Both of them don't really have a dance position like the others but their dance is powerful enough to match the other's energy)
Stage presence:
1. San (No one can actually match his stage presence. He literally become a demon)
2. Hongjoong (His stage presence makes me feel like I am with them)

@@June-hd3cs Yunho, Mingi and Wooyoung are the Main dancers and Yeosang is the Lead Dancer before they remove their original position. After that, they add San in the dance line. That's why I place Yunho and Wooyoung on the 1st and Mingi and San on the 2nd. But all of them are great dancers, I just rank them according to who catches my attention in their performances

I mean for me the only issue here is really having hongjoong at 6th for stage precense. Honestly buy has imo the 2nd best stage precense in the group and imo almost to the same level as san. I think Hong is even better than san is at facial expressions and is also insanely good with body precense when needed. Obviously everything is personal opinion and no attack meant on your opinion. It is just i will always have to be able to protect my hong because his precense is so amazing. Imo if san had not been in the group then i think the people calling him the top idol with stage precense would have just brought that onto hong instead. My stage precense ranking would probably be:

@@hongjoongswife yunho has grown a bit in precense lately and have grown imo from this placement for me. While he is not the top in the group he is not last, I think still he is the best dancer in the group but not as good precense as most of them. A new controversial take from me is that I am pushing Hong to one, this is mostly how good he is at controlling his precense and going hard and soft at the right time while San sometimes kinda looses some control over the flow of the precense, they are extremely close skillwise though imo.
Everyone is gonna have a different opinion but we can all agree that Ateez in general are all hot and Visuals with amazing skills

Woah i just realized now (bcs I've seen this) that when I stanned ateez since 2 yrs ago, I never really paid that much attention about this kind of ranking, which i pretty much do in my past ults... maybe bcs every atz members all stand out for me
Your ranking is a mess. San is the lead vocalist and objectively he is second best after Jongho. San has a good mix and also his agility is far better than Yunho's.Also, he can harmonise on the spot perfectly on pitch. Afterwards is Seonghwa who is more stable and his live singing is more consistant.
What threw me off the most is at stage presence you put second Yunho and Hongjoong third from the end. Like what?Hongjoong has more charisma just walking on stage and his expressions are top tier, like everyone in the demon line. San and Hongjoong are A+ tier in different ways ,Seonghwa is also A tier, Mingi and Wooyoung next depending of type of performance. And then the rest. With the dance is also debatable but I will not enter in that disscution because I don't have time for that.
Yunho stans are so blatantly obvious. The way they claim SANâs fans come against his main dancer position is exactly what they constantly are doing with the lead vocal position. Not even last week when Jongho was asked who he wanted to do a subunit with he wrote Sanâs name FIRST (then Seonghwaâs) and heâs been consistent saying that.
The stage presence category was the most laughable. If this list rang true the views would reflect that, without me going any further. Itâs San, Hongjoong and Seonghwa, in that order.

justice for my man yunho đ„° i agree his vocals are second best, just because he has such a versatile range and is stable af live. wish he got more lines. ironically, I feel like Iâm my other fave group ikon, that song is is easily as good as jay and ju-ne, but is variably listed as lead or sub vocal - the position doesnât necessarily mean someone canât practice till theyâre better.
I agree with most of this list, though Iâd tie mingi/hongjoong for rap, or even swap them. for dance, I think san can be hit or miss, he can sometimes look like heâs flailing on stage where he could bring it back together with a little more control and look amazing. I would also move yeosangâs vocals up some now that weâve had a chance to hear him sing more. seonghwaâs vocals tie San I think, they serve very different purposes for sure, but I think theyâre equally as good as each other in their elements. Id then rank yeosang- wooyoung - hongjoong - mingi. Iâd also say all 8 are visuals in their own way and I hate that jongho is always at the bottom of these lists for visual just because he doesnât look like a typical idol. one of these days I bet we find out heâs secretly buff as hell and joins bmâs big tiddie committee.
Iâll conclude by noting Iâm a 2ho bias, with a major soft spot for yeosang and hongjoong.

- i swear my heart flutters when San starts singing his solos live

- have y'all heard UTOPIA!?!?!?
- his vocals are a little less stable on stage because of their crazy ass, high energy choreography, but their live singing videos (w/o choreography) are breathtaking
4) Wooyoung
- his voice is SO unique. he can sound cute, sexy, or sensual when he wants, and no one can tell me he sucks
5) Yunho
- EXTREMELY stable vocals (literally sings like it's nothing IN THE MIDDLE of doing batshit crazy on choreography on stage)
- can sound comforting (e.g. Turbulence), can sound scary/will growl at you (e.g. DJANGO)

- unique vocals
- usually given calmer lines, but will growl/go low when told (e.g. HALAZIA, Dune)

- shorty in blue did Jongho's high note almost flawlessly
- HELLA underrated vocals

- his deep, raspy voice is his rapping weapon, but it's one step back from his dream of being a ballad singer đ
- he doesn't even suck, he just placed last because the first 6 contestants are crazy good
- managed to reach Jongho's insane high note in Turbulence (mind you, he was drunk)

- i prefer deep and raspy when i listen to rap, Mingi ticks all the boxes
- i start hyperventilating when i hear "fix on"

- more light and "tease-y" way of rapping and i find that EXTREMELY attractive
3) Seonghwa
- he initially auditioned to be a rapper, what else can i say!?
4) Jongho
- how is this man in the top 4 in rap? i have no idea. he's just an ace like that.

- i can see him rapping, honestly. so much potential.

- i haven't heard them yet, but i think they all have potential! especially Yuyu and Yeo.

- the PRECISION of this man

- i don't know if it's the stage presence too, or if his dancing has just improved by 1000 since hi debut, but San amazes me

- you know when they go to the middle for a solo dance break? it's just so ATTRACTIVE.
4) Seonghwa/Mingi
- their dances always kill me a little, and i'm okay with that. they have iconic solo dances occasionally, and i always look forward to them

- still a spectacular dance, his moves just don't sync with the members sometimes
6) Jongho
- understandable that he's on low power mode when it comes to dancing since his energy primarily goes to his vocals
VISUALS (not according to beauty standards)
1) San/Mingi
- yes, i am biased. San is just overall handsome, sexy, and charismatic; Mingi is tall, handsome, hot, and full of rizz
2) Seonghwa
- he can be pretty, he can be handsome he's SO attractive
3) Wooyoung/Hongjoong
- SO pretty, yet SO handsome. idk how to say it.
4) Yunho/Yeosang/Jongho
- i have like the biggest crushes on these 3, and i don't even understand how they places LAST. ateez has 8 visuals, and no one can take that away from them.
STAGE PRESENCE
1) San
- as rookies, Hongjoong was #1, but something about San changed throughout the years that had him taking the #1 spot from the shorty in blue
2) Hongjoong
- no one can compete with this man's stage presence. he's gdragon's child.
3) Seonghwa
- last member of the demon line. his duality on and off stage is CRAZY
4) Mingi
- especially with dark concepts, Mingi's aura stands out and makes him shine
5) Wooyoung
- the visuals and attractive voice always get me. his rizz is unstoppable.
6) Yunho
- less facial expressions because he's more focused on the choreo and that's completely fine
7) Jongho
- SO underrated
- he said it himself, he works his voice off singing those high notes during performances while his hyungs try to look hot đ
8) Yeosang
- underrated again
- i think one of the factors of this is because in general, Yeosang is a gentle person and is often found absolutely clueless, which can also reflect to what happens on stage. we love him tho, and he's perfect the way he is.

I think itâs unfair to put them al in a ranking. Because they are at such a level, with singing, dancing and stage performance.. that itâs always going to be a ranking on your personal taste. Someone may like apples more that pears ..but itâs not to say that either food isnât as amazing as the otherđ§Ą
There are still big enough differences to put them in a ranking, tho for rapping we only really have material for Hongjoong and Mingi since the others have never even released a self-written verse

@@HM-sk4sr That's not true at all and is a misconception. Their all main dance line is very inconsistent and each one of them have things to get better.
1.Yunho-he is clean but sometimes he underdance.Underdance in the sense that certain styles of dancing requires more power or more highlighted moves and accents, crispier pops and he is always so mellow.He dances in the same way every dance .He is good but not exceptional at anything. In comparison with other 4th gen main dancers is very underwhelming.(go watch Shotaro or Niki for reference)
2.Wooyoung- while he has clean lines he lacks power most of the time and sometimes he is sloppy because he is struggling with dynamics. He has good fluid y but he is so focused of being clean that sometimes his movements are so plain. In dance textures are important and that also has to do with dynamics.
3.Mingi and Yeosang-very power based ,both good at popping but Yeosang has upper body stiffness tendencies and Mingi often rushes his moves or just doesn't finish them. Mingi tho is more groovy and more fluid so that gives him the upper body. Yeosang tho in comparison with all the main dance line has a very clear style which I see in every stage ...he is very bouncy and he always adds more pops in the moves even tho are not there . I think is interesting but don't suit necesarily to every type of choreo.
While San isn't in the dance line he has one of the best isolations( I saw a recent fancam from concert of his Hala Hala moment and it was impeccable), has great body extensions and dynamics. He still sometimes gets overexcited on stage and he can be a millisecond faster than the others but otherwise he is very solid technical dancer. He doesn't has major problems , so I really don't get this false narrative of him being just a perfomer because he is a really good dancer. In certain categories even better than the dance line. Beside that he also has a specific style and he uses the moves of a dance as a tool to express something. In the artistic department which isn't autonom of technical one he is the best.
Conclusions:All of them have strengths and weaknesses, some more than others but I wish people would stop thinking that some predebut position are a reflection of the current reality because they are not.

In Horizon he does that calypso so well and his eyes always fallow his arm extensions when he has that type of move. Also, he is so fluid and flexible. I really want to see a solo contemporary dance from him.

I don't agree with most of the rankings here but I respect your opinion. I know San, Seonghwa and HJ are fan favorites and people want to see them at the top of every list but what about the other members? They need to be shown some love too!
It seems like certain members always come in at the bottom of every ranking and always have low views on fancams. Let them have a chance to shine too!
Btw I am San biased with HJ as a close second. I love them but let's be fair to all of them. They all are perfect and they all work so hard!
This isnât about people wanting them to be at the top of every list. Usually the people behind these lists are bitter because those three (especially San and Hongjoong) are widely recognized for their popularity and talent and being as good as they are in it. Ranking videos most of the time reflect the technique and skill of the people listed. This one clearly doesnât do that.

I recently saw San getting a lot of hate from some non-Atiny's and it actually hurt a little cause he is such a sweet person and puts so much into his performances! Just because he has better stage presence than their favorite groups they were trying to say he wasn't a good dancer. I had to stop myself from replying cause I would have said something not so nice. San is my favorite artist right behind GDragon and TOP.

Yea I know he gets it from outside the fandom. Iâm a casual fan and donât really bother with those people because I know what time it is. But the ones in the fandom doing that and thereâs two subfandoms in particular that always do, Iâm always gonna call that out. HJ is my second bias not only because his looks and stage presence but he also gives me GDragon vibes. He is destined to be a phenomenal leader just like GD.

People need to relax this is a personal list. I have in my own list Seonghwa higher in all categories because when I watch Ateez Iâm drawn to him thus his dance and presence is so notable to me and I happen to love his voice second after jongho for inception and utopia.
I think all 8 are A plus in all categories what puts them apart comes down to small details and individual tastes. This list didnât suit me but I donât think itâs devastatingly wrong.
