In my opinion, e bikes are more of the future then electric vehicles.
If the city has the infrustructure ( Pathways) for bikes - Absolutely the e-bikes would be the future more then cars for short commutes.

Yeah bro.. if for no other reason' - How about "laughs and Smiles? " - what does that cost these days.. These bikes are a blast to cruise around the neighborhood on after work.. Quiet ( Dont break down) No GAS or REGISTRATION needed... I see old guys riding these to McDonalds in the morning to have breakfast and cruise back home with coffee in the left hand... i’m a class A driver and i been looking forward for this bike just because i want to be able to ride to work and back home with out having to deal with car traffic as i do wild driving the semy for 12 hours and this is the first time i see it reviewed in white…i’m convinced about it and i’m loving this color….thanks for the review

Joey, I have picked 3 of my favorite picks that you have reviewed. 1) Jansno X-50 for $869. I like the style and price. 2) Euybike Auloor Folding E-Bike $849. I like that it folds up and price. 3) The Adult E-Scooter $379. I like it for a mobility problem of mine, and wouldn't mind a slow cruiser to go to the store for milk and bread...and you can't beat the price.

Hi from UK ,😂when considering the purchase of an e bike I think a crucial question to ask is if the battery fails. How tar do you want to peddle it home? . On this bike you sit quite far back from the bottom bracket ( pedal axis) this allows plenty of leg room as stated but will make pedalling require much more effort, on conventional road bikes you sit almost over the pedal axis this allows your hip and knee joints to rotate the pedals with minimal joint articulation thus less effort is required, hope this makes sense….

MAkes perfect sense sir... as I mentioned in the video... although I enjoy the bike and its seat position WITH PEDAL ASSIST - I would not enjoy trying to ride this bike with ZERO assist.. @@VegasDtechmy first ebike this happened to me and it suck it was so hard maybe get 5mph. After the bars disappeared I got about 1.5 miles before my assist totally went away

Interesting that you go for lockup, yet are aware that locking the front is deadly. Do you feel disks lock up less?
Still looking forward to fully unassisted demos. Sooner or later, a battery will fail 5 or 10 miles out, so knowing how tragic it is to fully leg-power it, let's say for half a mile, would be useful. You liked the leg extension/knee arrangement on this one, so that might factor in, and weight.
Oh Bill I cant ride this thing legit with out power assist.. Its the wrong style e-bike for that type of riding.. This Moped dirt bike style requires POWER ASSIST.. The fun is OVER once the POWER is OFF! Id SELL IT! - To pedal.. I need 3" wide tires or less NO 4" FAT TIRE and 82 POUNDS! NO NO NO' maybe 50/60 pounds MAX! You can get 17mph on a regular bike but you cant do it on an 82 pound bike and sustain it for long.. I Lock up the rear Tire when necessary .. A fishtail is EASY to Control. I never apply more then 30/40 percent brake to the front because as you know ... ( You sound like you understand bikes and Motorcyles ) a lock up on the front is a FAIL!
I ride Motorcycles so this E-bike stuff is second nature.. . Mechanical brakes lock up easier to me then Hydraulic.. some of the hydraulic brakes ive tested just start leaking fluid when i pull hard on it.. - not so quality hydraulic calipers can be worse then decent mechanical so far as I have seen - Joey

The reason I said 17 on a "safe" "un-hazard-ed" straightaway is because that was what you said you went for when doing the Knievel downhill-aimed-at-death brake tests :)
You really helped me saying how horrible full manual is on fat tires. I was on the fence but what you said seems decisive ... because I still feel that situations will arise where you lose power and have to pedal 5 miles home!

@@VegasDtech Rear lock up fishtailing is easy to control? You're braver than me! I do essentially a "manual anti lock" similar to ABBs, by releasing when skidding, pressing until on the verge of skidding again, then releasing if skidding. This is all for a panic stop. It's like a hobo half-assed antilocking, making 2 or 3 corrections myself, compared to a legitimate ABB doing to 100 times per second or something :)
I’m not a fan on the constant running lights I feel it would take the battery faster

exercise is ZERO if im doing 28mph... If I lower it to power assist (1) I will have cardiac arrest trying to pedal an 82 pound e-bike BUT.....
Here it comes.... on pedal assist (2) on flat ground.. It is the equivalent of a very slow jog... and that I can do for 3-5 miles without KILLING Myself and there is the MAGIC of the e-bike! You are in control of how MUCH or how LITTLE you want to exert yourself...

The seat is not adjustable, and the peddles are too far forward. There is no way that thing is comfortable to peddle if the battery goes dead. I realized that in the first 2 minutes of the video, I saw no need to watch the rest.
Very good point - This IS NOT a PEDAL style bike - I can pedal it with POWER ASSIST but it is a JOYRIDE bike... - This is not the STYLE BIKE THAT fits your needs... Thank you for the comment - Joey

This is just a means of transportation, not a form of exercise, peddling is an afterthought with the non-adjustable seat. I'm 64 and would not even consider this.
I’m 77 and my favorite bike I’ve ever owned is a Laguna cruiser. It’s taken apart right now cause my son is so upset about me having a bike. He’s afraid I’ll get hurt.
Correct' - 100% not a bike if you want to actually pedal... But look at this bike! It is like a MOTORBIKE- an ELECTRIC DIRT BIKE - This bike was never a style that you would even consider from the beginning.. Its a FUN style for people LOOKING for that classic Motorbike
look but dont want the HASSLE of MOTORCYCLES... you just SIT DOWN and ride by electric power.. Like a GOLF CART..
@@gracieg7601 Is it a fast bike? The name Laguna Cruiser sounds pretty fast... I agree you can get hurt because my aunt holly came to visit me and I gave her an E-bike to ride and 30 minutes later she crashed it pretty badly because she hit the fron brake too hard and she lost control so I understand where your son is coming from... but take it very slow and be careful and you can still enjoy them if not... they do make trike style with 3 wheels that are very safe! - anything to be outside and breathing some fresh air and keeping our body moving is a GOOD THING for all 😃 - Joey
The only bad thing about all these E bikes is no. 1 you don't need to pedal as much which, cause you not to exercise. No.2. You have to plug it in to charge it which, puts a strain on the electricity which is produced using FOSSIL FUELS.
Correct.... But as we all know... ELECTRIC EVERYTHING IS COMING and that is the way the Government of this country is pushing everything... FOSSIL FUELS to make electricity .... Very good point roger. Thank you for the comment
Way slow if you keep it stock 750w sucks! If u want this to haul ass do what I just did fit a 3000w 60v 30amp rear wheel kit! 52 mph and 50 mile range
I dont have very good medical insurance for that. however I do have a Suzuki burgman 400 that easily cruises all day at 90! Lol.. Ill just let a bike be a bike - Joey
