Same. They can be really ignorant but they mean well. This sketchy series is also good for showcasing different places instead of just the famous ones most youtubers go to over and over.
Can I just point out, at the Indian place, the lady did not have an attitude. She sounded like she was just inquiring why you were recording being as a lot of places do have a no recording rule or you have to ask permission. She wasn’t rude at all so stating you “won’t let her attitude sway your review” was just unnecessary to say. That is all ☺️💁🏼♀️

I agree with you. I'd say the same thing if these two schmo - hawks walked into my place. They didn't remove their hats which is rude in most countries. If anything is "SKETCHY" it's these two rubes.

Private businesses don't want to be filmed, not because of personal preference, but because of this thing called intellectual property - you know, the stuff that makes a business unique. If you spend lots of time and money to make your business a certain way, you don't want to give that information away. Most businesses would love the free publicity, as long as they know they are about to shoot a commercial.

She wasn't mean. If you came into my place of business with a camera, I'd ask as well. Some people don't like being filmed for various reasons and we always have to think of the other guest's privacy as well.

And as a service worker myself, we truly don't always look out best from the heat in the kitchen and running around. Also safety is a priority and some guests may have abusive partners they are hiding from, stalkers, etc. I'm not sure what line of work you do, but I can't imagine you'd be pleased if a stranger walked in with a camera in your face. It's respect. Ask first.

Yeah, I agree. Their table manners are atrocious. When they're eating, the comments they make can be heard by the wait staff. Totally uncool. Most of the buildings there are not in great shape and that's why these families can afford to live and work in the same building until they establish a clientele. Their comments aren't funny, they're RUDE.

Yeah, almost every other channel that does food stuff like this they always inquire beforehand or when they get there if it's ok to film. Weird that they still haven't done that yet after all this time.
Nah u dont have to ask to film yourself in a restaurant. If they curious what its for they can ask but jake is always respectful not to film others and they focus on brennan
@@Smart_Think You don't HAVE to ask, but it's respectful to ask. And some states you actually have to ask, or it's just not allowed unless you are given permission ahead of time. Plus, restaurants are private property and they can not allow filming if they don't want it.
The video (and all their videos) are filmed in a public setting, and very respectfully. While Brennen and Jake make every effort to keep the camera on just themselves sometimes, unfortunately, the general public do end up in the shot. It is unavoidable. What about when you take a picture/video in public and others' end up in your shot? Same thing here. Also, if someone ends up in their shot and requests to not be part of their content, Brennen and Jake always happily blur them out so their privacy is respected. Please take a look at the countless prior uploads where such requests have been honored. Finally, if a restaurant owner or other patrons have specifically asked that they not film they are incredibly respectful and stop filming until such time as they are in another location. Watch the prior uploads, it has happened many times before.

1. Yes we LOVE FREAKING CHEESE. But especially in cachapa because that is a especial type of venezuela Chesee calls ¨Queso de mano¨ or literally translated to ¨Hand cheesee¨.
2. I feel the same with patacon, but they make it ¨Maracaibo¨ version that is a part of venezuela where they eat really random way (i just like it witouth all the sauce and eggs).

Generally like your content but you're wrong. That lady wasn't rude to you in the slightest. You're in her establishment filming without getting permission or giving anyone an option of knowing what's going on or asking if they mind being filmed. Some people don't mind being filmed and that's fine. But you are in her place and as such should at the very least let them know that you want to record for whatever reason you're recording just for the sake of being respectful and cordial. She's not in the wrong for asking why you're filming in HER PLACE, nor is she being rude. I'll be honest, you're attitude about this situation is extremely off putting.

Go to Dalton, GA next time. Several sketchy but good restaurants there. Only 30 minutes from Chattanooga.
Chattanooga is a Mecca of foods from different lands and most of those places are in the sketchier part of town, but it's worth it. Been going there for quick weekend get-away's for years. It's literally full of hidden gems disguised as run down establishments. Next time you go, try out the Epicurean Mediterranean Restaurant. Looks like a bank on the outside, but the food is really good, especially the gyros.
