Chris is such a great assistant. Thanks for showing that trying to outwrestle a much bigger opponent is foolish.

I was going over your CZcams video and it’s really remarkable the amount of quality content you’ve produced over the last 6 years or so. Also impressive is your material is constantly refreshed and refined. And the presentation keeps getting better. You guys have done a great job and I think you’ve helped make sense of the practical aspects of Chinese martial arts for a lot of practitioners.

Chris is so willing to take one for the team for the sake of passing on knowledge. Thank you Chris, and of course Sifu! 🙏

Very nice. Grand Master Simon in a similar grab showed us students to double hammer strike the inside of the elbows and headbutt the opponent as an option.

Great video. If someone grabs your shirt or jacket you have more hands available than he does. That said, you have to still attack before he throws your down or over powers you.

Aloha, it looks like Hakka fist & Wing Chun mix well 🤙

Oh Man, grabbing the jacket is a gift. This is where TCMA thrives.

Good stuff and I know you know plenty of solutions for it but what you showed was a preemptive block/counter and attack to the grab not something done while you're already grabbed. Would like to see a follow up if possible.

I've watched several of your videos on Halka kungfu. I know the Halka forms are different, but a lot of what I've seen looks a lot like how xingyi can be used as well as the hand shspes

Scenarios like this where someone grabs your jacket is where classical martial arts really comes into play.
I’ve seen this so many times where someone just grabs someone else’s jacket with neither guy having any training in fighting.

los invito a todos en el video a poner a prueba bajo presión real estos ejercicios, las cosas no salen de esa manera. Este es problema de la mayoria de escuelas de wing chun, no practican sus ejercicios bajo precios real y después no saben como desarrollarlos

Just curious. Have you ever met grandmaster Duncan Leung? Regarding people erroneously staying your "claim" of being a representative of grandmaster Wong Shun Leung lineage, classic example of people hearing what they want to hear. Not what is actuality said
