- John Travolta is a downtrodden single father raising his daughter under difficult circumstances in Chicago. The young girl comes upon and then nurses a wounded Doberman used for fighting, back to health. Duped by underworld types he was working as a courier for, father and daughter leave the dog and flee cross-country to Los Angeles with both canine and mobsters in pursuit.

Had dogs all my life i am 35 , gpt my 1st dobey in 2005 she was a bag of bones riddled with worms i had to take her from the hell she knew..she died aged 11.5 cancer..my heart..a huge part of my heart died with her...a huge piece of my life my all..taken from me..you dont understand..dpg owners not even you..unless you are owned by a doberman..because you never own a doberman they own you!
I gpt tyce a male black and tan dobey in 2011 still with me now at my side wrapped in a blanket he has d.c.m if u have dobes u mist get them checked..gene pool etc all tests done no expense spared..its a killer and dobes drop dead from it..my tyce is on lots of meds for his condition but still could be taken from me at any minute..im aatching this movie again as i loved it as a child watching it..even though it is a dark movie its so powerful too..and beutiful...dobermans are truly under estimated by many and seen as a problem dog to many idiots out there who have no time to train them ...or love them..basic must when you take on a doberman if your npt gunna love ypur dobey ypur gunna be his next meal its that simple..and rightly so!
I miss my girl so much! She was so fiercely protective at night on walks crowds of young thugs would disperse they never saw a dobey before let alown see her growl and all her fur go up on.her back..making herself look bigger and more fierce...she was a spfty toe and few who where close to her..so loving so goofy and so cheely and smart too..she knew it boy did she...she bossed my male dobey arpund too ..she could of.killed the male when he was a pup and tried 3 times and came close to snapping his neck but i dived on her..it was completely out of the blue unprovoked..jelousy basically..as i fussed the puppy dobey as she was sitting near me..she jumped dpwn onto him..he was 9 weeks old she was 4 years old...they mended a bond..took months and still she thrpttled him if he got too rough playing with her..or over a toy...or attention..but 1 year together..2 years..was a different world she would protect the taller male dog the one now stronger than herself..but still dominant over him ..until she got cancer..she was a tough old girl always was never flinched at the loudest fireworks which i never understood..the male really has a hard time with fireworks and i hate loud bangs myself.
I will cherish the last days with my boy doberman as he may only have days..weeks..or months...time flies..so i want time to lay still i pray for this....
She was my all..my gaurdian my best friend my queen and my baby girl..now my boy took the role of watching.over me but now i feel i watch over him and like an hawk..im npt a people person i am a doberman person...and if u ever kept one as a junk yard dog your a bastard....heartless bastard..they are loving family companions mpre than a pet more than a gaurd dog..much more...same with any dog kept out on a scrap or junl yard or similar and on a chain ....shame on you!
Lots of movies still to this day potray dobes as just a junk yard dog or the dogs that protect huge houses in erican movies its a joke...they are the most loyal loving k9 on earth.
They cuddle you..they rub there nose and head on your face and under your arms...they cry for tummy rubs and chin tickles..ear rubs...back strokes ...they take the humph if ypu ignore them and rip your garbage bag..they are not stupid at all..very smart and calculative.. mine never looked ahead if someone was followimg me..at least one would turn n slow down n lock eyes on whoever got.close behind me...my girl dobe got rid of 3 horrible low live thieves trying to look onto back yards for goods to pinch ..i told them to leave..all 3 got out of a van..so i ran in the house and leashed my dobey and she gpt to work..growled soon as they saw her they shit on the spot and jumped in their van with threats..i said why threaten me come out and do what your going to do now...i know where u live..i said good do you thik she will allow you into my home? ;)

when I was a young boy a friend of my father's on the garage I was about four or five and that he had a black Shepherd protecting that garage inside name of dog was midnight I was teasing him through the window and the next thing I know he backs up and with all of his money runs and burst right through the window and I just barely made it up on top of the car and had not been there I would have been a dead little boy that was 56 years ago have a good night

Yeah it seemed pretty unrealistic.
When it was sitting in the last part it was a girl and when it was climbing the stairs it was a boy. It the dog a boy or a girl 😶😵
