Because “going off” like this is just that. OFF. There is nothing musical about playing against the groove. Drums are the root and foundation to the groove. If the drummer goes off the song has now lost its roots

He's a killer drummer, but that's just unacceptable anywhere, let alone in church. Where is the accountability? None of us are prefect, but nobody there calls him out on this? So, I'm assuming this a pretty common occurrence at Elevation Church? Wouldn't be surprised if it was to be honest.

1. First of all, this is Transformation Church, not Elevation Church 2. Yeah cussing depends on the intent, if his intention was emphasis and not profanity then it wasn’t cussing, but if it was otherwise, then that’s shouldn’t be, but using Jesus’ name in vain really needs to be addressed in our society as believers, I agree
I agree, but if this is just musicians practicing and messing around on a separate day, there isn’t anything wrong. Wouldn’t go for this on a Sunday though.

It's no excuse for your repetitive negativity and lack of understanding. Musicians are able to come out of pocket live because of this. These are touring, and recording musicians. You obviously haven't witnessed a team of professional musicians link.
He so dam relaxed at the kit pulling those licks off now that's how you play drums relaxed as possible

I don't see any self glorification..just some talented guys putting in hours to ensure excellent worship music on Sunday and having fun while at it
All of them are more than good enough to play secular music and if it's self glorification they were after then that's where they'd be playing
