- That's it. My last video for Dead Cells. Here I achieve the last achievement with cursed sword, where I can die in one hit. Yes. I totally enjoyed this. Played this game for 4 months and finally, I'm free...

Indeed, by far the most impressive run I've seen. Not using predator complicates things so much. Doing Timekeeper instead of Giant, completely flexing on the timekeeper as well

Imagine if they added a new achievement called “bro what? How?” Where u complete the game with just a rusty sword and no scrolls skills deployable skills shields and potion uses

@@miaucat815 Try Repeater Crossbow. I beat 2BC kinda effortlessly the second time i picked it up. Got lucky a lot but still.

Temporal distortion was an ability that slowed down all enemies and projectiles by like 30%

Funny, but not true.
From experience this challenge was alot harder than any of the soul games, even harder than deathless (DS 2 and 3, couldn't do first one yet)
Its like watching history being written in front of my eyes.I can't even imagine how good you actually have to get to complete a run like this.mad respect.
At 9:34 you literally swung your sword before you saw the enemy that was behind the door, if that was a thorny I can’t imagine how that would feel 😅

Someone on reddit posted their way to cheese this achievement. When you start every Biome or boss, drop the cursed sword, clear all enemies, then run back and pick up the cursed sword before going to the next level (with some of the bosses, make sure it's in front of the left door, not behind, or you won't be able to get it back once boss is beaten). This cheese method works.
Edit : there's an even easier way. Prerequisites : Make sure that you keep the pool of weapons low. For instance, you could do tactics/vitality build and leave your only brutality weapon as the cursed sword. Also you'll need the shop reroll perk. And last, but not least, make sure you have enough gold for the shop. Play the game until you get to high peak castle, clear the entire Biome, and then get to one of the weapons shops, reroll for brutality and you'll get the cursed sword. Then you just only have to drop the sword before fighting the hand of the king. Kill HOTK, go back and pick up cursed sword, end the run and you get the achievement.

@@francoiscordier8668 lol. Yeah. Depends on if you're just trying to get the achievement. Apparently there's an even cheesier method. Simply just buy the cursed sword in high peak, drop it before HOTK and then pick it up after you beat him. 😂
Its not rlly a cursed run if u dont use the sword itself to clear the levels
@@joseondynasty4094 true. But some people do it for the trophy/achievement so this is a method if they want to "cheese" it. My stance is, as long as you don't brag about it like you did it legit, play a single player game however you want.
This no longer works, there is no way to drop items anymore, not on the switch version at least
It is interesting to watch this and see things that have been patched out. Things like weapons having scroll stats or scrolls being behind the pay doors just don’t exist anymore. It has only been a year and it is already a time capsule.

Anybody else noticed that it didn't say you had to run with it you just had to beat the game with it and this man just decided to one up that
I got this achievement back when the game was in Early Access, and the Time Keeper was the last boss. There were no mutations, and overall there were a lot less gear, but I still kinda feel like a cheater now, knowing that this achievement is many times more difficult.
Well thanks to assist mode it's semi easier

I am currently working on the same goal in dead cells. Personally, I like the frozen grenade and heavy grenade combination. It’s not uncommon at all to get a +175% on frozen enemies heavy grenade. This is a good get out of trouble kit.
