Thank you for sharing this, Steve. Didn't know until now, that firms buy not only LP-Stakes but GP stakes. I understand that most LP secondary transactions are done at a discount, so the original LP sells the stake for less its than the present value of its future cash flows. Is this common as well in GP-Stakes investing?
Question: If a private equity fund started a real estate portfolio, can the firm have percentage stake in a project?
