Top notch service, very quiet for adults ONLY. Big pools and newer room. Foods are amazing as well. if you want the best experience get ocean view room. Bed were made daily with newer sheets and blankets. Very very clean!
We've been to there 3 times and we've never seen any private villas at the Barcelo Riviera Maya Resort as shown at 1:11??? We've stayed at the Caribe, Tropical and the Riviera (AO) which was the best.
Will be there 8/31-9/4 with Power To Exhale for our Caribbean Fest...I hope they are ready cause we sold out Barcelo & 3.5 of the other resorts...3500 are about to TURN UP!!!

I heard a review that there are no convenient food options easily accessible outside. Most resorts have food service around the pool, or a beach/pool restaurant.
Do you have to go get changed and go into a restaurant to be able to eat when you're out on the beach or pool?
Yeah pretty much. You don’t have to dress up, but you have to be somewhat clothed and dry.
There is the buffet and outdoor grilles for lunch, but yeah, unfortunately you do need to get dressed and dry for dinner.
The website doesn’t offer clear information. Is there 24hr room service or snack bar?
Hi I just called, if you book a “superior” room you do not get 24HR room service but you do get snack bar. Premium rooms you get a 24HR hour room service.
Please mention this is adults only resort! I’ve been here three times
