Independence Day is finally here and with all that has been happening in and around our country over the past couple of months, I must say it hasn't been easy reaching 47 years of independence. We've had social problems, political instabilities, violence at all levels, petty crimes, you name it, we've done and seen it all. But despite all that, it's this one day, the 16th if September when we forget all our differences and come together as one people, no matter the color of our skin, our language barriers, different traditional beliefs and customs, land boundaries and all that, we are all still Papua New Guineans, through and through.
Hence, to celebrate this prestigious day in the PNG annual calendar, I am re-uploading a song that was produced last year by Sly of SlamJamz a.k.a Lêzly Sly Logo and sung by me (Barata Rush).
