This anime broke my heart in soooo many ways
xCannibalism Ik the story was kinda fucked up, like Yano fucked his ex girlfriend's younger sister like wtf. But I think Nana changed him that's good. But some of story made me sooo mad because when his ex girl's younger sister went to the hospital, Yano ran to her and left nana. But in the end Yano and nana got married so that's good ❤️

Yo, check out the manga. Start at chapter 31 to get to the end of where the anime was, and it goes up to 70 chapters. I haven't finished it yet. I hope it all works out in the end!!

trav v dw they ended the manga well. You should continue it, I was left feeling helpless and melancholy after deciding to read the manga.
Also you should watch the live-action movie for it. Was really worth it!!

I watched this anime in 2011 but always find myself coming back to this playlist and just chill in nostalgia. One of the best rom-drama out there. Will never forget how much I cursed Yano in our small telly lol
중1때 처음 본 만화. 어느덧 내가 대학교 1학년이 됐네그때는 인간관계에 실패했고지금은 사랑에 실패한 뒤 이 노래를 듣는다어쩌면 서로의 마음을 확인했던 주인공들이 마냥 부럽네

I first watched this when I was 15, when it originally aired. In a couple of months I'll be 30 and this series will nearly be 15 years old itself. Still one of my favourites, nothing has really quite come close to it's charm.

Actually "suki dakara" is actually translated to "because I like you"
"dakara" isn't *because* Dakara is more like *so* or *therefore*, and if you put it all together, it roughly translates to *I Love You, After All*
Actually there are three words here:
Suki = to like
Da = informal conjugated form of desu
Kara = because
But I think when the translators put "after all" in the title it was because they were translating the last phrase of the song "zettai suki dakara" because "zettai" means "absolutely," "definitely," or -- you guessed it -- "after all"!

Very True. I always look back at it, mostly the ending episode which makes my cry everytime. I'm glad I read the manga but this anime will always be the first anime I watched and It will always make my cry.

This is the only anime/manga romance that made me ride to a roller coaster full of emotion. Truly it is very hard to win against your BF ex specially when they had a big impact to them. The story broke my heart in so many levels. T_T

I had this melody in my head and i tried so hard to remember where do i know it from finally found it:) this anime broke so mamy hearts in so many scenes im happy that in the first time of my life i decided to actually read the manga after the anime ends even tho i could never get used to the blackand white i still very satisfied with the ending!fixed almost everything for me :)

Es un anime lindo y tierno, aunque a veces la protagonista, Nana-chan puede ser desesperante. Creo que todos estamos de acuerdo en que Takeuchi-san es la mejor opción romantica para Nana-chan en lugar del perturbado de Yano-kun
