Wheel of Time Audition Transcript. Who is Sammael's captor?

- Speculation on the audition tape for The Wheel of Time series, including an unidentified character who confronts the Forsaken Sammael who is seaking an unnamed object. What is the object? Who are our best choices for who his captor is? Perhaps a certain someone with legendary status? I'll also touch on the larger scope of who our remaining Forsaken could be.

The Wheel of Time is an American high fantasy television series developed by Rafe Judkins for Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the book series of the same name by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. Moiraine Damodred, a member of the Aes Sedai, a powerful organization of women who can channel the One Power, seeks a group of five young people from the secluded village of Two Rivers, believing one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon, an extremely powerful male channeller responsible for the Breaking of the World. I like the Cadsuane theory. Her attitude would elicit bragging. I do think that the recentTanchico news may lead us tto think in that direction, while that storyline is probably smaller than Emonds field and the Waste. its a bit of a stretch, but the object could also be the access key(s) and the captor Sevanna/Therava. ( the magic being the weak point here)
It would work if they made her a Wise One. There's so many options! The object could also be the "traveling boxes" that Sammael offers the Shaido.
I can't see this being anyone other than Rand, Cadsuane or Mazrim Taim without massively lowering the intimidation and respect level of the Forsaken. Anyone else being able to single-handedly shield him not only makes no sense power-wise(unless they are using a powerful angreal), but also removes him as a credible threat. Idk why they would choose to do that, it makes the Forsaken look like even bigger jobbers than they already are in the books.
My personal theory is that it is Taim, and he is turned to the shadow through the course of the conversation. This acts as a stand in for Demandred breaking him free and recruiting him in the books. Idk what he would be looking for though.
Would definitely be a good way to introduce Taim's strength. I thought about including him in this video but

Oh wow, Asmodean. I can only imagine how they would integrate Asmodean into the story. I'm thinking the bard from the Witcher, type character.

It is such a weird text. Sammael name was not it the text according to WoTSeries, but they think it's him. I can see it as a scene written for Asmodean and tweaked for Sammael's audition. I can see it as scene of Sammael's imprisoned (again tweaked) with LLT asking him about the access keys to the Choedan Kal. Also his self description (and demeanor) is more Demandred than Sammael I think.
I hoped they would put Sammael in Tear and thus killing 2 birds with 1 stone (dealing with Sammael and capturing the Stone). But Sammael in Caemlyn would be better, as long as they go to the hustle of doing the Morgase plot
Maybe Nynaeve captures Moghedian and uses her power to deafeat Sammuel vs Rahvin. I don't think Balefire would be used. If there are only eight Forsaken, they can't keep killing them off.
The mystery channeller doesnt necessarily have to be one of the good guys. I'm thinking Liandrin with a Sa'angreal. Lanfear could be using known Black Ajah to spy on the other forsaken. Liandrin who has also been commissioned to find the domination bands is approached by Sammael or she stumbles upon him and beung a man who can channel she automatically lashes out. I like this idea because it adds more to Liandrin whonwas largely dropped at the end of season 2.
After seeing her with Lanfear I'm not sure I picture her going ham on another Forsaken, but that's the beauty of it, Liandrin is always full of surprises 😆
