You describe 3 diff sets of 4 creatures, the ones with four faces and wings are cherubim, the wheels with them are said to be orphanim. The ones with single faces of a creature and 6 wings are seraphim.
Reference the first book of Adam and Eve for Adam's first reaction to the cherubim.
I've always had a little difficulty understanding the whole 4 creature scripture and the way they look.

** A lion as we know we call it has the king of the jungle same with GOD He is the King over everything. So the lion represents GOD'S strength, power and majesty over everything in the universe.
** An eagle the sky is the limit, an eagle has one of the best eye sights of all birds, so for the eagle it's representing GOD'S freedom, GOD has no limitations (the sky is the limit) and that GOD has the eyes that sees everything and everyone not to forget every bird uses it's wings to cover it's offsprings, so that means GOD has the world and HIS people covered in His hands.
For man it's easy in the book of Genesis GOD made man and gave man dominion over everything so man is coming as a picture of GOD been dominant over everything, GOD having the wisdom, knowledge and understanding above everything and also man was assigned leader meaning GOD is leader of all.
So those four creatures are the attributes and not angels of GOD
