Rather than "racist" - it would be better, but more cumbersome to say "basket of things black people are stereotypically known to enjoy". While stereotyping can be racist, it isn't inherently as its actually think, learn and associate with the world.
You notice certain trends and commonalities about certain things - such as people who enjoy country music exclusively tend to be fairly stupid, and people who listen to nothing but rap music whatsoever are more likely to be offended by things a person who looks like me has to say than say a person who enjoys. . . well I'm from New Jersey eventually I offend everyone anyways, so perhaps using myself was a poor example.
Stereotyping can be racist, and it can make people who don't fit those stereotypes - either completely or partially, feel pigeonholed - chances are they're currently stereotyping you, so unless you're trying to be malicious - you aren't being racist though you might be ignorant of what the other person is like.
Also, Beto O'Rourke drove drunk and hit someone, then got away with it because his father was a prosecutor. Bet you and I wouldn't get away with it - and despite being an actual danger to society, Beto feels people who haven't committed any crime deserve to have the property stolen by the government in clear violation of multiple constitutional amendments.

I mean, white, black, brown or yellow, MOST people love chicken. It is why it is the most popular meat in America with nearly 50% per capita, and beef and veal only sitting at half that. It's like saying I like spaghetti and meatballs because I am Italian. I mean, yeah, I do. But we have Italian restaurants all over the place and it isn't just Italian people going there. Most people love spaghetti and meatballs. It really has nothing to do with race, just silly stereotypes that happen to be true for most people. I also love watermelon.

I wouldn't be insulted or offended at all if the tables were turned around on me. I'm of Mexican descent and would really think this would be funny if I received a Mexican-themed gift basket as a prank from any friend...black or white.
I grew up in Compton CA from 1962 to 1973, and I've seen all these so-called "stereotypes" visiting my neighbors or school friends at their homes with their families. We all experienced and more so, appreciated our cultures back then.
Christmas time? My African-American friends would share and love tamale meals with our family and we would have dinner of "soul food" at our African-American families' homes too. I remember the best-fried chicken, pork, or fish with chitlins, black-eyed peas, mustard or collard greens, the best mac and cheese, and cornbread.
I remember Ms. Haynes, our next-door neighbor asking me..."When's your Mama gonna make tamales again?" around Thanksgiving time. We would always save a dozen for our neighbors.
That's the way it was back then...

My 11yo son loves Fluffy! and this skit went way over his head because he doesn't understand why its funny. I will also add that we watched the story on his Netflix special that was PG13.
The Left. Over -- This is good for you and your son... I'm happy that Fluffy's comedy all is basically /nearly 'family friendly'. There isn't any(?) profanity to it and only a couple subjects that might be 'questionable' for a youth to listen to. A large reason why I like him /enjoy him so much. Even my young nephews can sit and watch when they come to visit. :-)

I love chicken, koolaide, corn bread, watermelon, bar-b-cue pork, ham hocks and black eye peas. I’m military brat who was raised with these great foods and returned to Hawaii. We were big family of nine kids traveling from Oklahoma to Florida, then up to Virginia. For us, it’s the best food ever!!! I’m a chicken hawk....fried chicken!!!! Mind you, forty years ago, they didn’t have fried chicken like I knew. I’m glad my mama knew how to cook our favorite foods...
