    Another default beta wallpaper to contain a shush followed by a warning that it's best not to have Microsoft's work revealed too soon? Interesting. Even above the statement happens to be a structure that almost looks like a crossword puzzle. Plus, it's amazing how many elements were retained from Windows 7, and yet, the final build of Windows 8 lacked its start button just because of some hidden function. At least it was restored in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

    1:30 that fish is so nostalgic, but i don't know why

    It was because of those builds that they removed the classic theme and even today I still miss it every time I see windows that don't render with Luna.

    Despite underhood, nothing has changed too much. But in terms of UI, it's quite interesting to have the combination of Aero and early Metro. Windows 8 is really a good version of Windows if Microsoft users choose between Start Menu and Start Screen.

    Nice video as always!1
    Also just asking: What do you do with the VMs you installed a OS beta in after you finish recording the video covering them?

    • @Sonicrush007
      @Sonicrush007  Před měsícem +1

      I don't do anything with them at all except delete them one day later (I keep the VM and also backup the video files in a compressed .7z file on a secondary drive just in case if there is a major mistake I made and it requires me to record a portion again or add something to the video. In such a case were to occur, I'd delete the uploaded video and edit the video again from the files saved in the compressed .7z folder, edit, and reupload)
      Besides that, nothing else I do with it. Once the video is done and shutdown the VM for the last time on video, 90% of the time it is never used again unless I forgot something.

      @@Sonicrush007 Well I really am having issues with installing Windows 8 8032 and I wanted to ask, could you upload its VMDK file to Archive so I can download it? (if you kept the VM file)

      @Sonicrush007  Před měsícem +1

      Yep. That was back 2.5 years ago that I upgraded. It's been doing me quite well since then. Rendering is insanely fast (takes less than half the time of each video to render actually and that's amazing. Back in the day when I did videos on my old Acer laptop, it was 1.5 minutes of rendering time per minute of footage).

    Hey Billy can you test a windows 8 build from 07/18/2011? I forgot the name but if it got leaked will you do it, plus 7/18/2011 is my birthdate

    • @graigmellon7874
      @graigmellon7874 Před měsícem +1

      That would be Build 8049 - and if it is confirmed and leaked eventually, it's a build that comes from the fbl_eeap branch, meaning it can't be redpilled as the entire Metro user interface was stripped out at compile time.

    • @Sonicrush007
      @Sonicrush007  Před měsícem +1

      I believe you are talking about this build: betawiki.net/wiki/Windows_8_build_8049
      It wasn't leaked. But I will accept any requests for legitimate leaked builds unless they're impossible to install.

    This is Windows 7, not Windows 8!

    • @Sonicrush007
      @Sonicrush007  Před měsícem

      This is not Windows 7. This is a very early build of Windows 8. It looks this way because it is early in development. See betawiki.net/wiki/Windows_8_build_8032
      and betawiki.net/wiki/Windows_8
